Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:
ਭੇਟਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਆ ॥
bhētat sang pārabraham chit āiā .
Meeting with the Sangat, the Congregation, the Supreme Lord God has come into my consciousness.
ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਰਤ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਮਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
sangat karat santōkh man pāiā .
In the Sangat, my mind has found contentment.
ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਨ ਮਾਥਾ ਮੇਰੋ ਪਉਤ ॥
santah charan māthā mērō paut .
I touch my forehead to the feet of the Saints.
ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਸੰਤਹ ਡੰਡਉਤ ॥੧॥
anik bār santah dandaut .1.
Countless times, I humbly bow to the Saints. ||1||
ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
ih man santan kai balihārī .
This mind is a sacrifice to the Saints;
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਖੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jā kī ōt gahī sukh pāiā rākhē kirapā dhārī .1. rahāu .
holding tight to their support, I have found peace, and in their mercy, they have protected me. ||1||Pause||
ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਣ ਧੋਇ ਧੋਇ ਪੀਵਾ ॥
santah charan dhōi dhōi pīvā .
I wash the feet of the Saints, and drink in that water.
ਸੰਤਹ ਦਰਸੁ ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਜੀਵਾ ॥
santah daras pēkh pēkh jīvā .
Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Saints' Darshan, I live.
ਸੰਤਹ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਸ ॥
santah kī mērai man ās .
My mind rests its hopes in the Saints.
ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਰਾਸਿ ॥੨॥
sant hamārī niramal rās .2.
The Saints are my immaculate wealth. ||2||
ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਪੜਦਾ ॥
sant hamārā rākhiā paradā .
The Saints have covered my faults.
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਕੜਦਾ ॥
sant prasād mōh kabahū n karadā .
By the Grace of the Saints, I am no longer tormented.
ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗੁ ਦੀਆ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥
santah sang dīā kirapāl .
The Merciful Lord has blessed me with the Saints' Congregation.
ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੩॥
sant sahāī bhaē daiāl .3.
The Compassionate Saints have become my help and support. ||3||
ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
surat mat budh paragās .
My consciousness, intellect and wisdom have been enlightened.
ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਗੁਣਤਾਸੁ ॥
gahir ganbhīr apār gunatās .
The Lord is profound, unfathomable, infinite, the treasure of virtue.
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
jī jant sagalē pratipāl .
He cherishes all beings and creatures.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਹ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੨੧॥
nānak santah dēkh nihāl .4.10.21.
Nanak is enraptured, seeing the Saints. ||4||10||21||
