ਤੂ ਦਾਨਾ ਤੂ ਅਬਿਚਲੁ ਤੂਹੀ ਤੂ ਜਾਤਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਾਤੀ ॥
tū dānā tū abichal tūhī tū jāt mērī pātī .
You are wise; You are eternal and unchanging. You are my social class and honor.
ਤੂ ਅਡੋਲੁ ਕਦੇ ਡੋਲਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਾ ਹਮ ਕੈਸੀ ਤਾਤੀ ॥੧॥
tū adōl kadē dōlah nāhī tā ham kaisī tātī .1.
You are unmoving - You never move at all. How can I be worried? ||1||
ਏਕੈ ਏਕੈ ਏਕ ਤੂਹੀ ॥
ēkai ēkai ēk tūhī .
You alone are the One and only Lord;
ਏਕੈ ਏਕੈ ਤੂ ਰਾਇਆ ॥
ēkai ēkai tū rāiā .
You alone are the king.
ਤਉ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tau kirapā tē sukh pāiā .1. rahāu .
By Your Grace, I have found peace. ||1||Pause||
ਤੂ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਹਮ ਹੰਸ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ਤੁਮ ਮਹਿ ਮਾਣਕ ਲਾਲਾ ॥
tū sāgar ham hans tumārē tum mah mānak lālā .
You are the ocean, and I am Your swan; the pearls and rubies are in You.
ਤੁਮ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਸੰਕ ਨ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਹਮ ਭੁੰਚਹ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ॥੨॥
tum dēvah til sank n mānah ham bhunchah sadā nihālā .2.
You give, and You do not hesitate for an instant; I receive, forever enraptured. ||2||
ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਤੁਮ ਮੁਖਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਖੀਰਾ ॥
ham bārik tum pitā hamārē tum mukh dēvah khīrā .
I am Your child, and You are my father; You place the milk in my mouth.
ਹਮ ਖੇਲਹ ਸਭਿ ਲਾਡ ਲਡਾਵਹ ਤੁਮ ਸਦ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੀਰਾ ॥੩॥
ham khēlah sabh lād ladāvah tum sad gunī gahīrā .3.
I play with You, and You caress me in every way. You are forever the ocean of excellence. ||3||
ਤੁਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹਮ ਭੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਅਘਾਏ ॥
tum pūran pūr rahē sanpūran ham bhī sang aghāē .
You are perfect, perfectly all-pervading; I am fulfilled with You as well.
ਮਿਲਤ ਮਿਲਤ ਮਿਲਤ ਮਿਲਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥੪॥੬॥
milat milat milat mil rahiā nānak kahan n jāē .4.6.
I am merged, merged, merged and remain merged; O Nanak, I cannot describe it! ||4||6||
