ਰੇਨੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਗੀ ॥
rēn santan kī mērai mukh lāgī .
I applied the dust of the feet of the Saints to my face.
ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਬਿਨਸੀ ਕੁਬੁਧਿ ਅਭਾਗੀ ॥
duramat binasī kubudh abhāgī .
My evil-mindedness disappeared, along with my misfortune and false-mindedness.
ਸਚ ਘਰਿ ਬੈਸਿ ਰਹੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਕੂਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੧੮॥
sach ghar bais rahē gun gāē nānak binasē kūrā jīu .4.11.18.
I sit in the true home of my self; I sing His Glorious Praises. O Nanak, my falsehood has vanished! ||4||11||18||
ਮਾਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
mājh mahalā 5 .
Maajh, Fifth Mehl:
ਸਗਲ ਸੰਤਨ ਪਹਿ ਵਸਤੁ ਇਕ ਮਾਂਗਉ ॥
sagal santan pah vasat ik mānhgau .
I beg of all the Saints: please, give me the merchandise.
ਕਰਉ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਮਾਨੁ ਤਿਆਗਉ ॥
karau binantī mān tiāgau .
I offer my prayers-I have forsaken my pride.
ਵਾਰਿ ਵਾਰਿ ਜਾਈ ਲਖ ਵਰੀਆ ਦੇਹੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
vār vār jāī lakh varīā dēh santan kī dhūrā jīu .1.
I am a sacrifice, hundreds of thousands of times a sacrifice, and I pray: please, give me the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||1||
ਤੁਮ ਦਾਤੇ ਤੁਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਿਧਾਤੇ ॥
tum dātē tum purakh bidhātē .
You are the Giver, You are the Architect of Destiny.
ਤੁਮ ਸਮਰਥ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ॥
tum samarath sadā sukhadātē .
You are All-powerful, the Giver of Eternal Peace.
ਸਭ ਕੋ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਵਰਸਾਵੈ ਅਉਸਰੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
sabh kō tum hī tē varasāvai ausar karah hamārā pūrā jīu .2.
You bless everyone. Please bring my life to fulfillment. ||2||
ਦਰਸਨਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਭਵਨ ਪੁਨੀਤਾ ॥
darasan tērai bhavan punītā .
The body-temple is sanctified by the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan,
ਆਤਮ ਗੜੁ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਤਿਨਾ ਹੀ ਜੀਤਾ ॥
ātam gar bikham tinā hī jītā .
and thus, the impregnable fort of the soul is conquered.
ਤੁਮ ਦਾਤੇ ਤੁਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਿਧਾਤੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਸੂਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
tum dātē tum purakh bidhātē tudh jēvad avar n sūrā jīu .3.
You are the Giver, You are the Architect of Destiny. There is no other warrior as great as You. ||3||
