Maajh, Fifth Mehl:
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਮੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ॥
dhann s vēlā jit mai satigur miliā .
Blessed is that time when I meet the True Guru.
ਸਫਲੁ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਪੇਖਤ ਤਰਿਆ ॥
saphal darasan nētr pēkhat tariā .
Gazing upon the Fruitful Vision of His Darshan, I have been saved.
ਧੰਨੁ ਮੂਰਤ ਚਸੇ ਪਲ ਘੜੀਆ ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁ ਓਇ ਸੰਜੋਗਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
dhann mūrat chasē pal gharīā dhann s ōi sanjōgā jīu .1.
Blessed are the hours, the minutes and the seconds-blessed is that Union with Him. ||1||
ਉਦਮੁ ਕਰਤ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਹੋਆ ॥
udam karat man niramal hōā .
Making the effort, my mind has become pure.
ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਚਲਤ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਸਗਲਾ ਖੋਇਆ ॥
har mārag chalat bhram sagalā khōiā .
Walking on the Lord's Path, my doubts have all been cast out.
ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ਮਿਟਿ ਗਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਰੋਗਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
nām nidhān satigurū sunāiā mit gaē sagalē rōgā jīu .2.
The True Guru has inspired me to hear the Treasure of the Naam; all my illness has been dispelled. ||2||
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
antar bāhar tērī bānī .
The Word of Your Bani is inside and outside as well.
ਤੁਧੁ ਆਪਿ ਕਥੀ ਤੈ ਆਪਿ ਵਖਾਣੀ ॥
tudh āp kathī tai āp vakhānī .
You Yourself chant it, and You Yourself speak it.
ਗੁਰਿ ਕਹਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਏਕੋ ਏਕੋ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਇਗਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
gur kahiā sabh ēkō ēkō avar n kōī hōigā jīu .3.
The Guru has said that He is One-All is the One. There shall never be any other. ||3||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪੀਆ ॥
anmrit ras har gur tē pīā .
I drink in the Lord's Ambrosial Essence from the Guru;
ਹਰਿ ਪੈਨਣੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਥੀਆ ॥
har painan nām bhōjan thīā .
the Lord's Name has become my clothing and food.
ਨਾਮਿ ਰੰਗ ਨਾਮਿ ਚੋਜ ਤਮਾਸੇ ਨਾਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀਨੇ ਭੋਗਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੧੭॥
nām rang nām chōj tamāsē nāu nānak kīnē bhōgā jīu .4.10.17.
The Name is my delight, the Name is my play and entertainment. O Nanak, I have made the Name my enjoyment. ||4||10||17||
