ਗੋਂਡ ॥

ਨਾਦ ਭ੍ਰਮੇ ਜੈਸੇ ਮਿਰਗਾਏ ॥
nād bhramē jaisē miragāē .
The deer is lured by the sound of the hunter's bell;
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਜੇ ਵਾ ਕੋ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥੧॥
prān tajē vā kō dhiān n jāē .1.
it loses its life, but it cannot stop thinking about it. ||1||
ਐਸੇ ਰਾਮਾ ਐਸੇ ਹੇਰਉ ॥
aisē rāmā aisē hērau .
In the same way, I look upon my Lord.
ਰਾਮੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਫੇਰਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
rām shōd chit anat n phērau .1. rahāu .
I will not abandon my Lord, and turn my thoughts to another. ||1||Pause||
ਜਿਉ ਮੀਨਾ ਹੇਰੈ ਪਸੂਆਰਾ ॥
jiu mīnā hērai pasūārā .
As the fisherman looks upon the fish,
ਸੋਨਾ ਗਢਤੇ ਹਿਰੈ ਸੁਨਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
sōnā gadhatē hirai sunārā .2.
and the goldsmith looks upon the gold he fashions;||2||
ਜਿਉ ਬਿਖਈ ਹੇਰੈ ਪਰ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
jiu bikhaī hērai par nārī .
As the man driven by sex looks upon another man's wife,
ਕਉਡਾ ਡਾਰਤ ਹਿਰੈ ਜੁਆਰੀ ॥੩॥
kaudā dārat hirai juārī .3.
and the gambler looks upon the throwing of the dice -||3||
ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਰਾਮਾ ॥
jah jah dēkhau tah tah rāmā .
In the same way, wherever Naam Dayv looks, he sees the Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਨਾਮਾ ॥੪॥੨॥
har kē charan nit dhiāvai nāmā .4.2.
Naam Dayv meditates continuously on the Feet of the Lord. ||4||2||
