Gond:
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਮਾਨਸੁ ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਦੇਉ ॥
nā ih mānas nā ih dēu .
It is not human, and it is not a god.
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਜਤੀ ਕਹਾਵੈ ਸੇਉ ॥
nā ih jatī kahāvai sēu .
It is not called celibate, or a worshipper of Shiva.
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਜੋਗੀ ਨਾ ਅਵਧੂਤਾ ॥
nā ih jōgī nā avadhūtā .
It is not a Yogi, and it is not a hermit.
ਨਾ ਇਸੁ ਮਾਇ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਪੂਤਾ ॥੧॥
nā is māi n kāhū pūtā .1.
It is not a mother, or anyone's son. ||1||
ਇਆ ਮੰਦਰ ਮਹਿ ਕੌਨ ਬਸਾਈ ॥
iā mandar mah kaun basāī .
Then what is it, which dwells in this temple of the body?
ਤਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tā kā ant n kōū pāī .1. rahāu .
No one can find its limits. ||1||Pause||
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਗਿਰਹੀ ਨਾ ਓਦਾਸੀ ॥
nā ih girahī nā ōdāsī .
It is not a house-holder, and it is not a renouncer of the world.
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਰਾਜ ਨ ਭੀਖ ਮੰਗਾਸੀ ॥
nā ih rāj n bhīkh mangāsī .
It is not a king, and it is not a beggar.
ਨਾ ਇਸੁ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਨ ਰਕਤੂ ਰਾਤੀ ॥
nā is pind n rakatū rātī .
It has no body, no drop of blood.
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਨੁ ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਖਾਤੀ ॥੨॥
nā ih brahaman nā ih khātī .2.
It is not a Brahmin, and it is not a Kh'shaatriya. ||2||
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਤਪਾ ਕਹਾਵੈ ਸੇਖੁ ॥
nā ih tapā kahāvai sēkh .
It is not called a man of austere self-discipline, or a Shaykh.
ਨਾ ਇਹੁ ਜੀਵੈ ਨ ਮਰਤਾ ਦੇਖੁ ॥
nā ih jīvai n maratā dēkh .
It does not live, and it is not seen to die.
ਇਸੁ ਮਰਤੇ ਕਉ ਜੇ ਕੋਊ ਰੋਵੈ ॥
is maratē kau jē kōū rōvai .
If someone cries over its death,
ਜੋ ਰੋਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਵੈ ॥੩॥
jō rōvai sōī pat khōvai .3.
that person loses his honor. ||3||
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੈ ਡਗਰੋ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
gur prasād mai dagarō pāiā .
By Guru's Grace, I have found the Path.
ਜੀਵਨ ਮਰਨੁ ਦੋਊ ਮਿਟਵਾਇਆ ॥
jīvan maran dōū mitavāiā .
Birth and death have both been erased.
ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਇਹੁ ਰਾਮ ਕੀ ਅੰਸੁ ॥
kah kabīr ih rām kī ans .
Says Kabeer, this is formed of the same essence as the Lord.
ਜਸ ਕਾਗਦ ਪਰ ਮਿਟੈ ਨ ਮੰਸੁ ॥੪॥੨॥੫॥
jas kāgad par mitai n mans .4.2.5.
It is like the ink on the paper which cannot be erased. ||4||2||5||
