Gond, Fifth Mehl:
ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਉ ॥
santan kai balihārai jāu .
I am a sacrifice to the Saints.
ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥
santan kai sang rām gun gāu .
Associating with the Saints, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਸਭਿ ਗਏ ॥
sant prasād kilavikh sabh gaē .
By the Grace of the Saints, all the sins are taken away.
ਸੰਤ ਸਰਣਿ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਏ ॥੧॥
sant saran vadabhāgī paē .1.
By great good fortune, one finds the Sanctuary of the Saints. ||1||
ਰਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਕਛੁ ਬਿਘਨੁ ਨ ਵਿਆਪੈ ॥
rām japat kash bighan n viāpai .
Meditating on the Lord, no obstacles will block your way.
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਪੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur prasād apunā prabh jāpai .1. rahāu .
By Guru's Grace, meditate on God. ||1||Pause||
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਜਬ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
pārabraham jab hōi daiāl .
When the Supreme Lord God becomes merciful,
ਸਾਧੂ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਕਰੈ ਰਵਾਲ ॥
sādhū jan kī karai ravāl .
he makes me the dust of the feet of the Holy.
ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਇਸੁ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਇ ॥
kām krōdh is tan tē jāi .
Sexual desire and anger leave his body,
ਰਾਮ ਰਤਨੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੨॥
rām ratan vasai man āi .2.
and the Lord, the jewel, comes to dwell in his mind. ||2||
ਸਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਤਾਂ ਕਾ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
saphal janam tānh kā paravān .
Fruitful and approved is the life of one
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣੁ ॥
pārabraham nikat kar jān .
who knows the Supreme Lord God to be close.
ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਰਤਨਿ ਲਾਗੈ ॥
bhāi bhagat prabh kīratan lāgai .
One who is committed to loving devotional worship of God, and the Kirtan of His Praises,
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਸੋਇਆ ਜਾਗੈ ॥੩॥
janam janam kā sōiā jāgai .3.
awakens from the sleep of countless incarnations. ||3||
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥
charan kamal jan kā ādhār .
The Lord's Lotus Feet are the Support of His humble servant.
ਗੁਣ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਰਉਂ ਸਚੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ ॥
gun gōvind raunh sach vāpār .
To chant the Praises of the Lord of the Universe is the true trade.
ਦਾਸ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰਿ ॥
dās janā kī manasā pūr .
Please fulfill the hopes of Your humble slave.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਜਨ ਧੂਰਿ ॥੪॥੨੦॥੨੨॥੬॥੨੮॥
nānak sukh pāvai jan dhūr .4.20.22.6.28.
Nanak finds peace in the dust of the feet of the humble. ||4||20||22||6||28||
