Gond, Fifth Mehl:
ਧੂਪ ਦੀਪ ਸੇਵਾ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥
dhūp dīp sēvā gōpāl .
My incense and lamps are my service to the Lord.
ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਬੰਦਨ ਕਰਤਾਰ ॥
anik bār bandan karatār .
Time and time again, I humbly bow to the Creator.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਗਹੀ ਸਭ ਤਿਆਗਿ ॥
prabh kī saran gahī sabh tiāg .
I have renounced everything, and grasped the Sanctuary of God.
ਗੁਰ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਵਡ ਭਾਗਿ ॥੧॥
gur suprasann bhaē vad bhāg .1.
By great good fortune, the Guru has become pleased and satisfied with me. ||1||
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗਾਈਐ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ॥
āth pahar gāīai gōbind .
Twenty-four hours a day, I sing of the Lord of the Universe.
ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਜਿੰਦੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tan dhan prabh kā prabh kī jind .1. rahāu .
My body and wealth belong to God; my soul belongs to God. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਰਮਤ ਭਏ ਆਨੰਦ ॥
har gun ramat bhaē ānand .
Chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I am in bliss.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਖਸੰਦ ॥
pārabraham pūran bakhasand .
The Supreme Lord God is the Perfect Forgiver.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਏ ॥
kar kirapā jan sēvā lāē .
Granting His Mercy, He has linked His humble servants to His service.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖ ਮੇਟਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥੨॥
janam maran dukh mēt milāē .2.
He has rid me of the pains of birth and death, and merged me with Himself. ||2||
ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਇਹੁ ਤਤੁ ਗਿਆਨੁ ॥
karam dharam ih tat giān .
This is the essence of karma, righteous conduct and spiritual wisdom,
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
sādhasang japīai har nām .
to chant the Lord's Name in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਸਾਗਰ ਤਰਿ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਚਰਣ ॥
sāgar tar bōhith prabh charan .
God's Feet are the boat to cross over the world-ocean.
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਰਣ ॥੩॥
antarajāmī prabh kāran karan .3.
God, the Inner-knower, is the Cause of causes. ||3||
ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਅਪਨੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
rākh līē apanī kirapā dhār .
Showering His Mercy, He Himself has saved me.
ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਭਾਗੇ ਬਿਕਰਾਲ ॥
panch dūt bhāgē bikarāl .
The five hideous demons have run away.
ਜੂਐ ਜਨਮੁ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਹਾਰਿ ॥
jūai janam n kabahū hār .
Do not lose your life in the gamble.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਕੀਆ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੧੪॥
nānak kā ang kīā karatār .4.12.14.
The Creator Lord has taken Nanak's side. ||4||12||14||
