Gond, Fifth Mehl:
ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸ ਮਿਟੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਇ ॥
kal kalēs mitē har nāi .
Suffering and troubles are eradicated by the Lord's Name.
ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਸੁਖ ਕੀਨੋ ਠਾਉ ॥
dukh binasē sukh kīnō thāu .
Pain is dispelled, and peace takes its place.
ਜਪਿ ਜਪਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਘਾਏ ॥
jap jap anmrit nām aghāē .
Meditating, chanting the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, I am satisfied.
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਸਗਲ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ॥੧॥
sant prasād sagal phal pāē .1.
By the Grace of the Saints, I have received all fruitful rewards. ||1||
ਰਾਮ ਜਪਤ ਜਨ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰੇ ॥
rām japat jan pār parē .
Meditating on the Lord, His humble servant is carried across,
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਪਾਪ ਹਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
janam janam kē pāp harē .1. rahāu .
and the sins of countless incarnations are taken away. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਰਿਦੈ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
gur kē charan ridai ur dhārē .
I have enshrined the Guru's feet within my heart,
ਅਗਨਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਤੇ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਰੇ ॥
agan sāgar tē utarē pārē .
and crossed over the ocean of fire.
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਸਭ ਮਿਟੀ ਉਪਾਧਿ ॥
janam maran sabh mitī upādh .
All the painful diseases of birth and death have been eradicated.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਗੀ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਧਿ ॥੨॥
prabh siu lāgī sahaj samādh .2.
I am attached to God in celestial Samaadhi. ||2||
ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
thān thanantar ēkō suāmī .
In all places and interspaces, the One, our Lord and Master is contained.
ਸਗਲ ਘਟਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
sagal ghatā kā antarajāmī .
He is the Inner-knower of all hearts.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਇ ॥
kar kirapā jā kau mat dēi .
One whom the Lord blesses with understanding,
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ਲੇਇ ॥੩॥
āth pahar prabh kā nāu lēi .3.
chants the Name of God, twenty-four hours a day. ||3||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ॥
jā kai antar vasai prabh āp .
Deep within, God Himself abides;
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
tā kai hiradai hōi pragās .
within his heart, the Divine Light shines forth.
ਭਗਤਿ ਭਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਕਰੀਐ ॥
bhagat bhāi har kīratan karīai .
With loving devotion, sing the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises.
ਜਪਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਿਸਤਰੀਐ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੧੨॥
jap pārabraham nānak nisatarīai .4.10.12.
Meditate on the Supreme Lord God, O Nanak, and you shall be saved. ||4||10||12||
