ਗੋਂਡ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Gond, Fifth Mehl:
ਨਿਮਾਨੇ ਕਉ ਜੋ ਦੇਤੋ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
nimānē kau jō dētō mān .
He grants honor to the dishonored,
ਸਗਲ ਭੂਖੇ ਕਉ ਕਰਤਾ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
sagal bhūkhē kau karatā dān .
and gives gifts to all the hungry;
ਗਰਭ ਘੋਰ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੁ ॥
garabh ghōr mah rākhanahār .
he protects those in the terrible womb.
ਤਿਸੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
tis thākur kau sadā namasakār .1.
So humbly bow forever to that Lord and Master. ||1||
ਐਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਧਿਆਇ ॥
aisō prabh man māh dhiāi .
Meditate on such a God in your mind.
ਘਟਿ ਅਵਘਟਿ ਜਤ ਕਤਹਿ ਸਹਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ghat avaghat jat katah sahāi .1. rahāu .
He shall be your help and support everywhere, in good times and bad. ||1||Pause||
ਰੰਕੁ ਰਾਉ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਏਕ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
rank rāu jā kai ēk samān .
The beggar and the king are all the same to Him.
ਕੀਟ ਹਸਤਿ ਸਗਲ ਪੂਰਾਨ ॥
kīt hasat sagal pūrān .
He sustains and fulfills both the ant and the elephant.
ਬੀਓ ਪੂਛਿ ਨ ਮਸਲਤਿ ਧਰੈ ॥
bīō pūsh n masalat dharai .
He does not consult or seek anyone's advice.
ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੈ ਸੁ ਆਪਹਿ ਕਰੈ ॥੨॥
jō kish karai s āpah karai .2.
Whatever He does, He does Himself. ||2||
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਸਿ ਕੋਇ ॥
jā kā ant n jānas kōi .
No one knows His limit.
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
āpē āp niranjan sōi .
He Himself is the Immaculate Lord.
ਆਪਿ ਅਕਾਰੁ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
āp akār āp nirankār .
He Himself is formed, and He Himself is formless.
ਘਟ ਘਟ ਘਟਿ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
ghat ghat ghat sabh ghat ādhār .3.
In the heart, in each and every heart, He is the Support of all hearts. ||3||
ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਭਗਤ ਭਏ ਲਾਲ ॥
nām rang bhagat bhaē lāl .
Through the Love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the devotees become His Beloveds.
ਜਸੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
jas karatē sant sadā nihāl .
Singing the Praises of the Creator, the Saints are forever in bliss.
ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਜਨ ਰਹੇ ਅਘਾਇ ॥
nām rang jan rahē aghāi .
Through the Love of the Naam, the Lord's humble servants remain satisfied.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਜਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਪਾਇ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
nānak tin jan lāgai pāi .4.3.5.
Nanak falls at the feet of those humble servants of the Lord. ||4||3||5||
