Gond, Fifth Mehl:
ਨਾਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਬਿਉਹਾਰੁ ॥
nām sang kīnō biuhār .
I trade in the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਨਾਮੋੁ ਹੀ ਇਸੁ ਮਨ ਕਾ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
nāmō hī is man kā adhār .
The Naam is the Support of the mind.
ਨਾਮੋ ਹੀ ਚਿਤਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਓਟ ॥
nāmō hī chit kīnī ōt .
My consciousness takes to the Shelter of the Naam.
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਪਾਪ ਕੋਟਿ ॥੧॥
nām japat mitah pāp kōt .1.
Chanting the Naam, millions of sins are erased. ||1||
ਰਾਸਿ ਦੀਈ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
rās dīī har ēkō nām .
The Lord has blessed me with the wealth of the Naam, the Name of the One Lord.
ਮਨ ਕਾ ਇਸਟੁ ਗੁਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
man kā isat gur sang dhiān .1. rahāu .
The wish of my mind is to meditate on the Naam, in association with the Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
nām hamārē jī kī rās .
The Naam is the wealth of my soul.
ਨਾਮੋ ਸੰਗੀ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਜਾਤ ॥
nāmō sangī jat kat jāt .
Wherever I go, the Naam is with me.
ਨਾਮੋ ਹੀ ਮਨਿ ਲਾਗਾ ਮੀਠਾ ॥
nāmō hī man lāgā mīthā .
The Naam is sweet to my mind.
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੨॥
jal thal sabh mah nāmō dīthā .2.
In the water, on the land, and everywhere, I see the Naam. ||2||
ਨਾਮੇ ਦਰਗਹ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ॥
nāmē daragah mukh ujalē .
Through the Naam, one's face becomes radiant in the Court of the Lord.
ਨਾਮੇ ਸਗਲੇ ਕੁਲ ਉਧਰੇ ॥
nāmē sagalē kul udharē .
Through the Naam, all one's generations are saved.
ਨਾਮਿ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੀਧ ॥
nām hamārē kāraj sīdh .
Through the Naam, my affairs are resolved.
ਨਾਮ ਸੰਗਿ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੂਆ ਗੀਧ ॥੩॥
nām sang ih manūā gīdh .3.
My mind is accustomed to the Naam. ||3||
ਨਾਮੇ ਹੀ ਹਮ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਭਏ ॥
nāmē hī ham nirabhau bhaē .
Through the Naam, I have become fearless.
ਨਾਮੇ ਆਵਨ ਜਾਵਨ ਰਹੇ ॥
nāmē āvan jāvan rahē .
Through the Naam, my comings and goings have ceased.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਮੇਲੇ ਗੁਣਤਾਸ ॥
gur pūrai mēlē gunatās .
The Perfect Guru has united me with the Lord, the treasure of virtue.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥੪॥੨॥੪॥
kah nānak sukh sahaj nivās .4.2.4.
Says Nanak, I dwell in celestial peace. ||4||2||4||
