ਪਾਵਉ ਧੂਰਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਕੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੀ ॥੪॥੩॥੩੩॥
pāvau dhūr tērē dās kī nānak kurabānī .4.3.33.
Please bless me with the dust of the feet of Your slaves; Nanak is a sacrifice. ||4||3||33||
ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
bilāval mahalā 5 .
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:
ਲਾਲ ਰੰਗੁ ਤਿਸ ਕਉ ਲਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥
lāl rang tis kau lagā jis kē vadabhāgā .
One is dyed in the color of the Lord's Love, by great good fortune.
ਮੈਲਾ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਨਹ ਲਾਗੈ ਦਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
mailā kadē n hōvaī nah lāgai dāgā .1.
This color is never muddied; no stain ever sticks to it. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੁਖਦਾਈਆ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੁਖ ਭਾਇ ॥
prabh pāiā sukhadāīā miliā sukh bhāi .
He finds God, the Giver of peace, with feelings of joy.
ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਨਾ ਭੀਤਰੇ ਛੋਡਿਆ ਨਹ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sahaj samānā bhītarē shōdiā nah jāi .1. rahāu .
The Celestial Lord blends into his soul, and he can never leave Him. ||1||Pause||
ਜਰਾ ਮਰਾ ਨਹ ਵਿਆਪਈ ਫਿਰਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
jarā marā nah viāpaī phir dūkh n pāiā .
Old age and death cannot touch him, and he shall not suffer pain again.
ਪੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਆਘਾਨਿਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਅਮਰੁ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
pī anmrit āghāniā gur amar karāiā .2.
Drinking in the Ambrosial Nectar, he is satisfied; the Guru makes him immortal. ||2||
ਸੋ ਜਾਨੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਮੋਲਾ ॥
sō jānai jin chākhiā har nām amōlā .
He alone knows its taste, who tastes the Priceless Name of the Lord.
ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ਕਿਆ ਕਹਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲਾ ॥੩॥
kīmat kahī n jāīai kiā kah mukh bōlā .3.
Its value cannot be estimated; what can I say with my mouth? ||3||
ਸਫਲ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
saphal daras tērā pārabraham gun nidh tērī bānī .
Fruitful is the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, O Supreme Lord God. The Word of Your Bani is the treasure of virtue.
