Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਮਹਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਤੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਹਾਥ ਦੇ ਰਾਖੇ ਪਏ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
mahā agan tē tudh hāth dē rākhē paē tērī saranāī .
Giving me Your Hand, You saved me from the terrible fire, when I sought Your Sanctuary.
ਤੇਰਾ ਮਾਣੁ ਤਾਣੁ ਰਿਦ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜੀ ਆਸ ਚੁਕਾਈ ॥੧॥
tērā mān tān rid antar hōr dūjī ās chukāī .1.
Deep within my heart, I respect Your strength; I have abandoned all other hopes. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਤੁਧੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਐ ਉਬਰੇ ॥
mērē rām rāi tudh chit āiai ubarē .
O my Sovereign Lord, when You enter my consciousness, I am saved.
ਤੇਰੀ ਟੇਕ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਰਾ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਾਰਾ ਉਧਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tērī tēk bharavāsā tumharā jap nām tumhārā udharē .1. rahāu .
You are my support. I count on You. Meditating on You, I am saved. ||1||Pause||
ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ ਤੇ ਕਾਢਿ ਲੀਏ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਆਪਿ ਭਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥
andh kūp tē kādh līē tumh āp bhaē kirapālā .
You pulled me up out of the deep, dark pit. You have become merciful to me.
ਸਾਰਿ ਸਮ੍ਹਾਲਿ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਦੀਏ ਆਪਿ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥੨॥
sār samhāl sarab sukh dīē āp karē pratipālā .2.
You care for me, and bless me with total peace; You Yourself cherish me. ||2||
ਆਪਣੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟਿ ਛਡਾਏ ॥
āpanī nadar karē paramēsar bandhan kāt shadāē .
The Transcendent Lord has blessed me with His Glance of Grace; breaking my bonds, He has delivered me.
ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਈ ਆਪੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਏ ॥੩॥
āpanī bhagat prabh āp karāī āpē sēvā lāē .3.
God Himself inspires me to worship Him; He Himself inspires me to serve Him. ||3||
ਭਰਮੁ ਗਇਆ ਭੈ ਮੋਹ ਬਿਨਾਸੇ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਸਗਲ ਵਿਸੂਰਾ ॥
bharam gaiā bhai mōh bināsē mitiā sagal visūrā .
My doubts have gone, my fears and infatuations have been dispelled, and all my sorrows are gone.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਇਆ ਕਰੀ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੈ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੪॥੫॥੫੨॥
nānak daiā karī sukhadātai bhētiā satigur pūrā .4.5.52.
O Nanak, the Lord, the Giver of peace has been merciful to me. I have met the Perfect True Guru. ||4||5||52||
