ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
sant prasād nihachal ghar pāiā .
By the Grace of the Saints, I have found my eternal home.
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਫਿਰਿ ਨਹੀ ਡੋੁਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
sarab sūkh phir nahī dōlāiā .1.
I have found total peace, and I shall not waver again. ||1||
ਗੁਰੂ ਧਿਆਇ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਮਨਿ ਚੀਨ੍ਹੇ ॥
gurū dhiāi har charan man chīnhē .
I meditate on the Guru, and the Lord's Feet, within my mind.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਰਤੈ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਕੀਨ੍ਹੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tā tē karatai asathir kīnhē .1. rahāu .
In this way, the Creator Lord has made me steady and stable. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਤ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥
gun gāvat achut abināsī .
I sing the Glorious Praises of the unchanging, eternal Lord God,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਾਟੀ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸੀ ॥੨॥
tā tē kātī jam kī phāsī .2.
and the noose of death is snapped. ||2||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲੀਨੇ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਏ ॥
kar kirapā līnē lar lāē .
Showering His Mercy, he has attached me to the hem of His robe.
ਸਦਾ ਅਨਦੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥੩॥੩੦॥੩੬॥
sadā anad nānak gun gāē .3.30.36.
In constant bliss, Nanak sings His Glorious Praises. ||3||30||36||
