Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਘਰ ਕਾ ਕਾਜੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਰੂੜਾ ॥
ghar kā kāj n jānī rūrā .
The beautiful one does not know the work of his own home.
ਝੂਠੈ ਧੰਧੈ ਰਚਿਓ ਮੂੜਾ ॥੧॥
jhūthai dhandhai rachiō mūrā .1.
The fool is engrossed in false attachments. ||1||
ਜਿਤੁ ਤੂੰ ਲਾਵਹਿ ਤਿਤੁ ਤਿਤੁ ਲਗਨਾ ॥
jit tūn lāvah tit tit laganā .
As You attach us, so we are attached.
ਜਾ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉ ਜਪਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jā tūn dēh tērā nāu japanā .1. rahāu .
When You bless us with Your Name, we chant it. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਦਾਸ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਰਾਤੇ ॥
har kē dās har sētī rātē .
The Lord's slaves are imbued with the Love of the Lord.
ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਇਣਿ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਮਾਤੇ ॥੨॥
rām rasāin anadin mātē .2.
They are intoxicated with the Lord, night and day. ||2||
ਬਾਹ ਪਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਢੇ ॥
bāh pakar prabh āpē kādhē .
Reaching out to grasp hold of our arms, God lifts us up.
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਟੂਟੇ ਗਾਢੇ ॥੩॥
janam janam kē tūtē gādhē .3.
Separated for countless incarnations, we are united with Him again. ||3||
ਉਧਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੇ ॥
udhar suāmī prabh kirapā dhārē .
Save me, O God, O my Lord and Master - shower me with Your Mercy.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣਿ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥੪॥੨੯॥੩੫॥
