Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
gur pūrē jab bhaē daiāl .
When the Perfect Guru becomes merciful,
ਦੁਖ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਈ ਘਾਲ ॥੧॥
dukh binasē pūran bhaī ghāl .1.
my pains are taken away, and my works are perfectly completed. ||1||
ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਾਰਾ ॥
pēkh pēkh jīvā daras tumhārā .
Gazing upon, beholding the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, I live;
ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਜਾਈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
charan kamal jāī balihārā .
I am a sacrifice to Your Lotus Feet.
ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਵਨੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tujh bin thākur kavan hamārā .1. rahāu .
Without You, O my Lord and Master, who belongs to me? ||1||Pause||
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਣਿ ਆਈ ॥
sādhasangat siu prīt ban āī .
I have fallen in love with the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy,
ਪੂਰਬ ਕਰਮਿ ਲਿਖਤ ਧੁਰਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥
pūrab karam likhat dhur pāī .2.
by the karma of my past actions and my pre-ordained destiny. ||2||
ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥
jap har har nām acharaj paratāp .
Chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; how wondrous is His glory!
ਜਾਲਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਹਿ ਤੀਨੇ ਤਾਪ ॥੩॥
jāl n sākah tīnē tāp .3.
The three types of illness cannot consume it. ||3||
ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਾਰੇ ॥
nimakh n bisarah har charan tumhārē .
May I never forget, even for an instant, the Lord's Feet.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮਾਗੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੪॥੨੫॥੩੧॥
nānak māgai dān piārē .4.25.31.
Nanak begs for this gift, O my Beloved. ||4||25||31||
