Soohee, Fifth Mehl:
ਸੂਖ ਮਹਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਊਚ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥
sūkh mahal jā kē ūch duārē .
His Mansions are so comfortable, and His gates are so lofty.
ਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਵਾਸਹਿ ਭਗਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧॥
tā mah vāsah bhagat piārē .1.
Within them, His beloved devotees dwell. ||1||
ਸਹਜ ਕਥਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਅਤਿ ਮੀਠੀ ॥
sahaj kathā prabh kī at mīthī .
The Natural Speech of God is so very sweet.
ਵਿਰਲੈ ਕਾਹੂ ਨੇਤ੍ਰਹੁ ਡੀਠੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
viralai kāhū nētrah dīthī .1. rahāu .
How rare is that person, who sees it with his eyes. ||1||Pause||
ਤਹ ਗੀਤ ਨਾਦ ਅਖਾਰੇ ਸੰਗਾ ॥
tah gīt nād akhārē sangā .
There, in the arena of the congregation, the divine music of the Naad, the sound current, is sung.
ਊਹਾ ਸੰਤ ਕਰਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਾ ॥੨॥
ūhā sant karah har rangā .2.
There, the Saints celebrate with their Lord. ||2||
ਤਹ ਮਰਣੁ ਨ ਜੀਵਣੁ ਸੋਗੁ ਨ ਹਰਖਾ ॥
tah maran n jīvan sōg n harakhā .
Neither birth nor death is there, neither pain nor pleasure.
ਸਾਚ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਰਖਾ ॥੩॥
sāch nām kī anmrit varakhā .3.
The Ambrosial Nectar of the True Name rains down there. ||3||
ਗੁਹਜ ਕਥਾ ਇਹ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਣੀ ॥
guhaj kathā ih gur tē jānī .
From the Guru, I have come to know the mystery of this speech.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥੪॥੬॥੧੨॥
nānak bōlai har har bānī .4.6.12.
