ਤੂੰ ਜੀਵਨੁ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥
tūn jīvan tūn prān adhārā .
You are my Life, the very Support of my breath of life.
ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਮਨੁ ਸਾਧਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
tujh hī pēkh pēkh man sādhārā .1.
Gazing upon You, beholding You, my mind is soothed and comforted. ||1||
ਤੂੰ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥
tūn sājan tūn prītam mērā .
You are my Friend, You are my Beloved.
ਚਿਤਹਿ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਹਿ ਕਾਹੂ ਬੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
chitah n bisarah kāhū bērā .1. rahāu .
I shall never forget You. ||1||Pause||
ਬੈ ਖਰੀਦੁ ਹਉ ਦਾਸਰੋ ਤੇਰਾ ॥
bai kharīd hau dāsarō tērā .
I am Your indentured servant; I am Your slave.
ਤੂੰ ਭਾਰੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਗਹੇਰਾ ॥੨॥
tūn bhārō thākur gunī gahērā .2.
You are my Great Lord and Master, the treasure of excellence. ||2||
ਕੋਟਿ ਦਾਸ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਦਰਬਾਰੇ ॥
kōt dās jā kai darabārē .
There are millions of servants in Your Court - Your Royal Darbaar.
ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਵਸੈ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ ਨਾਲੇ ॥੩॥
nimakh nimakh vasai tinh nālē .3.
Each and every instant, You dwell with them. ||3||
ਹਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥
hau kish nāhī sabh kish tērā .
I am nothing; everything is Yours.
ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥੪॥੫॥੧੧॥
ōt pōt nānak sang basērā .4.5.11.
Through and through, You abide with Nanak. ||4||5||11||
