ਲਾਲਨੁ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਕਵਨ ਗਤੀ ਰੀ ॥
lālan rāviā kavan gatī rī .
How have you enjoyed your Dear Beloved?
ਸਖੀ ਬਤਾਵਹੁ ਮੁਝਹਿ ਮਤੀ ਰੀ ॥੧॥
sakhī batāvah mujhah matī rī .1.
O sister, please teach me, please show me. ||1||
ਸੂਹਬ ਸੂਹਬ ਸੂਹਵੀ ॥ ਅਪਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sūhab sūhab sūhavī . apanē prītam kai rang ratī .1. rahāu .
Crimson, crimson, crimson - this is the color of the soul-bride who is imbued with the Love of her Beloved. ||1||Pause||
ਪਾਵ ਮਲੋਵਉ ਸੰਗਿ ਨੈਨ ਭਤੀਰੀ ॥
pāv malōvau sang nain bhatīrī .
I wash Your Feet with my eye-lashes.
ਜਹਾ ਪਠਾਵਹੁ ਜਾਂਉ ਤਤੀ ਰੀ ॥੨॥
jahā pathāvah jānhu tatī rī .2.
Wherever You send me, there I will go. ||2||
ਜਪ ਤਪ ਸੰਜਮ ਦੇਉ ਜਤੀ ਰੀ ॥
jap tap sanjam dēu jatī rī .
I would trade meditation, austerity, self-discipline and celibacy,
ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਮਿਲਾਵਹੁ ਮੋਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤੀ ਰੀ ॥੩॥
ik nimakh milāvah mōh prānapatī rī .3.
if I could only meet the Lord of my life, for even an instant. ||3||
ਮਾਣੁ ਤਾਣੁ ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਹਤੀ ਰੀ ॥
mān tān ahanbudh hatī rī .
She who eradicates her self-conceit, power and arrogant intellect,
ਸਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੋਹਾਗਵਤੀ ਰੀ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੦॥
sā nānak sōhāgavatī rī .4.4.10.
O Nanak, is the true soul-bride. ||4||4||10||
