ਜੇ ਸਉ ਲੋਚੈ ਰੰਗੁ ਨ ਹੋਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੩॥
jē sau lōchai rang n hōvai kōi .3.
Even if he wishes it a hundred times, he does not obtain the Lord's Love. ||3||
ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
nadar karē tā satigur pāvai .
But if the Lord blesses him with His Glance of Grace, then he meets the True Guru.
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥੪॥੨॥੬॥
nānak har ras har rang samāvai .4.2.6.
Nanak is absorbed into the subtle essence of the Lord's Love. ||4||2||6||

Soohee, Fourth Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਏ ॥
har kripā karē man har rang lāē .
Showering His Mercy, the Lord imbues the mind with His Love.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੧॥
guramukh har har nām samāē .1.
The Gurmukh merges in the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣੇ ॥
har rang rātā man rang mānē .
Imbued with the Lord's Love, the mortal enjoys the pleasure of His Love.
ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦਿ ਰਹੈ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sadā anand rahai din rātī pūrē gur kai sabad samānē .1. rahāu .
He remains always blissful, day and night, and he merges into the Shabad, the Word of the Perfect Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਕਉ ਲੋਚੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ॥
har rang kau lōchai sabh kōī .
Everyone longs for the Lord's Love;
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਚਲੂਲਾ ਹੋਈ ॥੨॥
guramukh rang chalūlā hōī .2.
the Gurmukh is imbued with the deep red color of His Love. ||2||
ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਮੁਗਧੁ ਨਰੁ ਕੋਰਾ ਹੋਇ ॥
manamukh mugadh nar kōrā hōi .
The foolish, self-willed manmukh is left pale and uncolored.
