Todee, Fifth Mehl:
ਮਾਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥
māī mērē man kī prīt .
O my mother, my mind is in love.
ਏਹੀ ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਜਪ ਏਹੀ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੈ ਰੀਤਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ēhī karam dharam jap ēhī rām nām niramal hai rīt . rahāu .
This is my karma and my Dharma; this is my meditation. The Lord's Name is my immaculate, unstained way of life. ||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਧਨ ਮੋਰੈ ਦੇਖਨ ਕਉ ਦਰਸਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨੀਤਿ ॥
prān adhār jīvan dhan mōrai dēkhan kau darasan prabh nīt .
The Support of my breath of life, the wealth of my life, is to gaze upon the Blessed Vision of God's Darshan.
ਬਾਟ ਘਾਟ ਤੋਸਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਮੋਰੈ ਮਨ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕਉ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਸਖਾ ਕੀਤ ॥੧॥
bāt ghāt tōsā sang mōrai man apunē kau mai har sakhā kīt .1.
On the road, and on the river, these supplies are always with me. I have made my mind the Lord's companion. ||1||
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਭਏ ਮਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕਰਿ ਲੀਤ ॥
sant prasād bhaē man niramal kar kirapā apunē kar līt .
By the Grace of the Saints, my mind has become immaculate and pure. In His mercy, He has made me His own.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੇ ਮੀਤ ॥੨॥੨॥੨੧॥
simar simar nānak sukh pāiā ād jugād bhagatan kē mīt .2.2.21.
Remembering, remembering Him in meditation, Nanak has found peace. From the very beginning, and throughout the ages, He is the friend of His devotees. ||2||2||21||
