ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:
ਛਡਾਇ ਲੀਓ ਮਹਾ ਬਲੀ ਤੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਾਤਿ ॥
shadāi līō mahā balī tē apanē charan parāt .
He has saved me from the awful power of Maya, by attaching me to His feet.
ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਮਨ ਮੰਤਾ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਤਿ ॥੧॥
ēk nām dīō man mantā binas n katahū jāt .1.
He gave my mind the Mantra of the Naam, the Name of the One Lord, which shall never perish or leave me. ||1||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਕੀਨੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥
satigur pūrai kīnī dāt .
The Perfect True Guru has given this gift.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਉ ਭਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਗਾਤਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har har nām dīō kīratan kau bhaī hamārī gāt . rahāu .
He has blessed me with the Kirtan of the Praises of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and I am emancipated. ||Pause||
ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਪਾਤਿ ॥
angīkār kīō prabh apunai bhagatan kī rākhī pāt .
My God has made me His own, and saved the honor of His devotee.
ਨਾਨਕ ਚਰਨ ਗਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤਿ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੪੧॥
nānak charan gahē prabh apanē sukh pāiō din rāt .2.10.41.
Nanak has grasped the feet of his God, and has found peace, day and night. ||2||10||41||
