ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁ ਥਾਨੁ ਧੰਨਿ ਓਇ ਭਵਨਾ ਜਾ ਮਹਿ ਸੰਤ ਬਸਾਰੇ ॥
dhann s thān dhann ōi bhavanā jā mah sant basārē .
Blessed is that place, and blessed is that house, in which the Saints dwell.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਪੂਰਹੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭਗਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੯॥੪੦॥
jan nānak kī saradhā pūrah thākur bhagat tērē namasakārē .2.9.40.
Fulfill this desire of servant Nanak, O Lord Master, that he may bow in reverence to Your devotees. ||2||9||40||

ਸੰਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਦਮੋਦਰ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਾਰੇ ॥
sant kripāl daiāl damōdar kām krōdh bikh jārē .
The Saints are kind and compassionate; they burn away their sexual desire, anger and corruption.
ਰਾਜੁ ਮਾਲੁ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਜੀਅਰਾ ਇਨ ਊਪਰਿ ਲੈ ਬਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
rāj māl jōban tan jīarā in ūpar lai bārē .1.
My power, wealth, youth, body and soul are a sacrifice to them. ||1||
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਹਿਤਕਾਰੇ ॥
man tan rām nām hitakārē .
With my mind and body, I love the Lord's Name.
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਸਹਿਤ ਭਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sūkh sahaj ānand mangal sahit bhav nidh pār utārē . rahāu .
With peace, poise, pleasure and joy, He has carried me across the terrifying world-ocean. ||Pause||
