ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਹੁ ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
nimakh nimakh tum hī pratipālah ham bārik tumarē dhārē .1.
Each and every moment, You cherish and nurture me; I am Your child, and I rely upon You alone. ||1||
ਜਿਹਵਾ ਏਕ ਕਵਨ ਗੁਨ ਕਹੀਐ ॥
jihavā ēk kavan gun kahīai .
I have only one tongue - which of Your Glorious Virtues can I describe?
ਬੇਸੁਮਾਰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੇਰੋ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਕਿਨ ਹੀ ਲਹੀਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
bēsumār bēant suāmī tērō ant n kin hī lahīai .1. rahāu .
Unlimited, infinite Lord and Master - no one knows Your limits. ||1||Pause||
ਕੋਟਿ ਪਰਾਧ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਖੰਡਹੁ ਅਨਿਕ ਬਿਧੀ ਸਮਝਾਵਹੁ ॥
kōt parādh hamārē khandah anik bidhī samajhāvah .
You destroy millions of my sins, and teach me in so many ways.
ਹਮ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਅਲਪ ਮਤਿ ਥੋਰੀ ਤੁਮ ਆਪਨ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਰਖਾਵਹੁ ॥੨॥
ham agiān alap mat thōrī tum āpan birad rakhāvah .2.
I am so ignorant - I understand nothing at all. Please honor Your innate nature, and save me! ||2||
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਆਸਾ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਸਜਨ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ॥
tumarī saran tumārī āsā tum hī sajan suhēlē .
I seek Your Sanctuary - You are my only hope. You are my companion, and my best friend.
ਰਾਖਹੁ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਘਰ ਕੇ ਗੋਲੇ ॥੩॥੧੨॥
rākhah rākhanahār daiālā nānak ghar kē gōlē .3.12.
Save me, O Merciful Saviour Lord; Nanak is the slave of Your home. ||3||12||

You are the Giver, O Lord, O Cherisher, my Master, my Husband Lord.
