ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥

Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਨੀ ॥
har kā sant satagur sat purakhā jō bōlai har har bānī .
The True Guru is the Lord's Saint, the True Being, who chants the Bani of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਸੋ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਹਮ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
jō jō kahai sunai sō mukatā ham tis kai sad kurabānī .1.
Whoever chants it, and listens to it, is liberated; I am forever a sacrifice to him. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਜਸੁ ਕਾਨੀ ॥
har kē sant sunah jas kānī .
O Saints of the Lord, listen to the Lord's Praises with your ears.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਪਲ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਪਾਪ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har har kathā sunah ik nimakh pal sabh kilavikh pāp lah jānī .1. rahāu .
Listen to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, for a moment, for even an instant, and all your sins and mistakes shall be erased. ||1||Pause||
ਐਸਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਾਧੁ ਜਿਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਡਾਨੀ ॥
aisā sant sādh jin pāiā tē vad purakh vadānī .
Those who find such humble, Holy Saints, are the greatest of the great persons.
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੰਗਹ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਲੋਚ ਲੁਚਾਨੀ ॥੨॥
tin kī dhūr mangah prabh suāmī ham har lōch luchānī .2.
I beg for the dust of their feet; I long for the longing for God, my Lord and Master. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਫਲਿਓ ਬਿਰਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਿਨ ਜਪਿਓ ਸੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੀ ॥
har har saphaliō birakh prabh suāmī jin japiō sē tripatānī .
The Name of God, the Lord and Master, Har, Har, is the fruit-bearing tree; those who meditate on it are satisfied.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੇ ਸਭ ਲਾਥੀ ਭੂਖ ਭੁਖਾਨੀ ॥੩॥
har har anmrit pī tripatāsē sabh lāthī bhūkh bhukhānī .3.
Drinking in the ambrosia of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I am satisfied; all my hunger and thirst is quenched. ||3||
ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਵਡ ਊਚੇ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਜਪਾਨੀ ॥
jin kē vadē bhāg vad ūchē tin har japiō japānī .
Those who are blessed with the highest, loftiest destiny, chant and meditate on the Lord.
ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਦਸਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੩॥
tin har sangat mēl prabh suāmī jan nānak dās dasānī .4.3.
Let me join their congregation, O God, my Lord and Master; Nanak is the slave of their slaves. ||4||3||
