ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:
ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ॥
aithai ōthai rakhavālā .
Here and hereafter, He is our Savior.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
prabh satigur dīn daiālā .
God, the True Guru, is Merciful to the meek.
ਦਾਸ ਅਪਨੇ ਆਪਿ ਰਾਖੇ ॥
dās apanē āp rākhē .
He Himself protects His slaves.
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੁਭਾਖੇ ॥੧॥
ghat ghat sabad subhākhē .1.
In each and every heart, the Beautiful Word of His Shabad resounds. ||1||
ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਊਪਰਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥
gur kē charan ūpar bal jāī .
I am a sacrifice to the Guru's Feet.
ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਮਾਲੀ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਸਭਨੀ ਥਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dinas rain sās sās samālī pūran sabhanī thāī . rahāu .
Day and night, with each and every breath, I remember Him; He is totally pervading and permeating all places. ||Pause||
ਆਪਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੋਆ ॥
āp sahāī hōā .
He Himself has become my help and support.
ਸਚੇ ਦਾ ਸਚਾ ਢੋਆ ॥
sachē dā sachā dhōā .
True is the support of the True Lord.
ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
tērī bhagat vadiāī .
Glorious and great is devotional worship to You.
ਪਾਈ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੨॥੧੪॥੭੮॥
pāī nānak prabh saranāī .2.14.78.
Nanak has found God's Sanctuary. ||2||14||78||
