ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ਤਾ ਸਹਸਾ ਸਗਲ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
sukh sāgar gur pāiā . tā sahasā sagal mitāiā .1.
I found the Guru, the ocean of peace, and all my doubts were dispelled. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
har kē nām kī vadiāī .
This is the glorious greatness of the Naam.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਈ ॥
āth pahar gun gāī .
Twenty-four hours a day, I sing His Glorious Praises.
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur pūrē tē pāī . rahāu .
I obtained this from the Perfect Guru. ||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥
prabh kī akath kahānī .
God's sermon is inexpressible.
ਜਨ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
jan bōlah anmrit bānī .
His humble servants speak words of Ambrosial Nectar.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਵਖਾਣੀ ॥
nānak dās vakhānī .
Slave Nanak has spoken.
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਜਾਣੀ ॥੨॥੨॥੬੬॥
gur pūrē tē jānī .2.2.66.
Through the Perfect Guru, it is known. ||2||2||66||

ਜਿਤੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਆ ॥ ਸੋ ਘਰੁ ਦਯਿ ਵਸਾਇਆ ॥
jit pārabraham chit āiā . sō ghar day vasāiā .
The Supreme Lord God has established that home, in which He comes to mind.
