ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਬਾਛੈ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਪਰੋਈ ॥੨॥੫॥੩੩॥

tin kī dhūr nānak dās bāshai jin har nām ridai parōī .2.5.33.

Slave Nanak yearns for the dust of the feet of those, who have woven the Lord's Name into their hearts. ||2||5||33||

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

sōrath mahalā 5 .

Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl:

ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਜੀਅਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਭ ਮਲੁ ਖੋਈ ॥

abināsī jīan kō dātā simarat sabh mal khōī .

He is imperishable, the Giver of all beings; meditating on Him, all filth is removed.

ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਭਗਤਨ ਕਉ ਬਰਤਨਿ ਬਿਰਲਾ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਈ ॥੧॥

gun nidhān bhagatan kau baratan biralā pāvai kōī .1.

He is the treasure of excellence, the object of His devotees, but rare are those who find Him. ||1||

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਜਪਿ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥

mērē man jap gur gōpāl prabh sōī .

O my mind, meditate on the Guru, and God, the Cherisher of the world.

ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਇਆਂ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਬਾਹੁੜਿ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jā kī saran paiānh sukh pāīai bāhur dūkh n hōī .1. rahāu .

Seeking His Sanctuary, one finds peace, and he shall not suffer in pain again. ||1||Pause||

ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਤਿਨ ਭੇਟਤ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਖੋਈ ॥

vadabhāgī sādhasang parāpat tin bhētat duramat khōī .

By great good fortune, one obtains the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. Meeting them, evil-mindedness is eliminated.
