ਵਡਹੰਸੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Wadahans, Fifth Mehl:
ਧਨੁ ਸੁ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਕਰਣਾ ॥
dhan s vēlā jit darasan karanā .
Blessed is that time, when the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is given;
ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਚਰਣਾ ॥੧॥
hau balihārī satigur charanā .1.
I am a sacrifice to the feet of the True Guru. ||1||
ਜੀਅ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
jī kē dātē prītam prabh mērē .
You are the Giver of souls, O my Beloved God.
ਮਨੁ ਜੀਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
man jīvai prabh nām chitērē .1. rahāu .
My soul lives by reflecting upon the Name of God. ||1||Pause||
ਸਚੁ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
sach mantr tumārā anmrit bānī .
True is Your Mantra, Ambrosial is the Bani of Your Word.
ਸੀਤਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸੁਜਾਣੀ ॥੨॥
sītal purakh drisat sujānī .2.
Cooling and soothing is Your Presence, all-knowing is Your gaze. ||2||
ਸਚੁ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਤਖਤਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ॥
sach hukam tumārā takhat nivāsī .
True is Your Command; You sit upon the eternal throne.
ਆਇ ਨ ਜਾਵੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੩॥
āi n jāvai mērā prabh abināsī .3.
My eternal God does not come or go. ||3||
ਤੁਮ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਦਾਸ ਹਮ ਦੀਨਾ ॥
tum miharavān dās ham dīnā .
You are the Merciful Master; I am Your humble servant.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਭਰਪੁਰਿ ਲੀਣਾ ॥੪॥੨॥
nānak sāhib bharapur līnā .4.2.
O Nanak, the Lord and Master is totally permeating and pervading everywhere. ||4||2||
