ਸਿਰੀਰਾਗੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥

Siree Raag, Third Mehl:
ਇਕਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਉ ਕੈ ਦਰਿ ਪੂਛਉ ਜਾਇ ॥
ik pir rāvah āpanā hau kai dar pūshau jāi .
Some enjoy their Husband Lord; unto whose door should I go to ask for Him?
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਪਿਰੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
satigur sēvī bhāu kar mai pir dēh milāi .
I serve my True Guru with love, that He may lead me to Union with my Husband Lord.
ਸਭੁ ਉਪਾਏ ਆਪੇ ਵੇਖੈ ਕਿਸੁ ਨੇੜੈ ਕਿਸੁ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
sabh upāē āpē vēkhai kis nērai kis dūr .
He created all, and He Himself watches over us. Some are close to Him, and some are far away.
ਜਿਨਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਸੰਗੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਪਿਰੁ ਰਾਵੇ ਸਦਾ ਹਦੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
jin pir sangē jāniā pir rāvē sadā hadūr .1.
She who knows her Husband Lord to be always with her, enjoys His Constant Presence. ||1||
ਮੁੰਧੇ ਤੂ ਚਲੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਇ ॥
mundhē tū chal gur kai bhāi .
O woman, you must walk in harmony with the Guru's Will.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਵਹਿ ਪਿਰੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
anadin rāvah pir āpanā sahajē sach samāi .1. rahāu .
Night and day, you shall enjoy your Husband, and you shall intuitively merge into the True One. ||1||Pause||
ਸਬਦਿ ਰਤੀਆ ਸੋਹਾਗਣੀ ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰਿ ॥
sabad ratīā sōhāganī sachai sabad sīgār .
Attuned to the Shabad, the happy soul-brides are adorned with the True Word of the Shabad.
ਹਰਿ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਘਰਿ ਆਪਣੈ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਹੇਤਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥
har var pāin ghar āpanai gur kai hēt piār .
Within their own home, they obtain the Lord as their Husband, with love for the Guru.
ਸੇਜ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਵੈ ਭਗਤਿ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥
sēj suhāvī har rang ravai bhagat bharē bhandār .
Upon her beautiful and cozy bed, she enjoys the Love of her Lord. She is overflowing with the treasure of devotion.
ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਜਿ ਸਭਸੈ ਦੇਇ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
sō prabh prītam man vasai j sabhasai dēi adhār .2.
That Beloved God abides in her mind; He gives His Support to all. ||2||
ਪਿਰੁ ਸਾਲਾਹਨਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਹਉ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਉ ॥
pir sālāhan āpanā tin kai hau sad balihārai jāu .
I am forever a sacrifice to those who praise their Husband Lord.
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪੀ ਸਿਰੁ ਦੇਈ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਲਾਗਾ ਪਾਇ ॥
man tan arapī sir dēī tin kai lāgā pāi .
I dedicate my mind and body to them, and give my head as well; I fall at their feet.
ਜਿਨੀ ਇਕੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਚੁਕਾਇ ॥
jinī ik pashāniā dūjā bhāu chukāi .
Those who recognize the One renounce the love of duality.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੀਐ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੩॥੨੯॥੬੨॥
guramukh nām pashānīai nānak sach samāi .3.29.62.
The Gurmukh recognizes the Naam, O Nanak, and is absorbed into the True One. ||3||29||62||
