ਸਾ ਰਸਨਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
sā rasanā dhan dhann hai mērī jindurīē gun gāvai har prabh kērē rām .
Blessed, blessed is that tongue, O my soul, which sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord God.
ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਭਲੇ ਸੋਭਨੀਕ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਣਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
tē sravan bhalē sōbhanīk hah mērī jindurīē har kīratan sunah har tērē rām .
Sublime and splendid are those ears, O my soul, which listen to the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises.
ਸੋ ਸੀਸੁ ਭਲਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਜਾਇ ਲਗੈ ਗੁਰ ਪੈਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
sō sīs bhalā pavitr pāvan hai mērī jindurīē jō jāi lagai gur pairē rām .
Sublime, pure and pious is that head, O my soul, which falls at the Guru's Feet.
ਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
gur vitah nānak vāriā mērī jindurīē jin har har nām chitērē rām .2.
Nanak is a sacrifice to that Guru, O my soul; the Guru has placed the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, in my mind. ||2||
ਤੇ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਭਲੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥

Blessed and approved are those eyes, O my soul, which gaze upon the Holy True Guru.
ਤੇ ਹਸਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲੇਖਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥

Sacred and sanctified are those hands, O my soul, which write the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਪਗ ਨਿਤ ਪੂਜੀਅਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਧਰਮ ਚਲੇਸਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥
tis jan kē pag nit pūjīah mērī jindurīē jō mārag dharam chalēsah rām .
I worship continually the feet of that humble being, O my soul, who walks on the Path of Dharma - the path of righteousness.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨੇਸਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥

ਧਰਤਿ ਪਾਤਾਲੁ ਆਕਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸਭ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
dharat pātāl ākās hai mērī jindurīē sabh har har nām dhiāvai rām .
The earth, the nether regions of the underworld, and the Akaashic ethers, O my soul, all meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਪਉਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥

Wind, water and fire, O my soul, continually sing the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har.
ਵਣੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਣੁ ਸਭੁ ਆਕਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
van trin sabh ākār hai mērī jindurīē mukh har har nām dhiāvai rām .
The woods, the meadows and the whole world, O my soul, chant with their mouths the Lord's Name, and meditate on the Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਿ ਪੈਨ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥੪॥੪॥

O Nanak, one who, as Gurmukh, focuses his consciousness on the Lord's devotional worship - O my soul, he is robed in honor in the Court of the Lord. ||4||4||

ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਤੇ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੂੜ ਇਆਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
jin har har nām n chētiō mērī jindurīē tē manamukh mūr iānē rām .
Those who do not remember the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, O my soul - those self-willed manmukhs are foolish and ignorant.
ਜੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਦੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਏ ਪਛੁਤਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
jō mōh māiā chit lāidē mērī jindurīē sē ant gaē pashutānē rām .
Those who attach their consciousness to emotional attachment and Maya, O my soul, depart regretfully in the end.
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਢੋਈ ਨਾ ਲਹਨ੍ਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਪਾਪਿ ਲੁਭਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
har daragah dhōī nā lahanh mērī jindurīē jō manamukh pāp lubhānē rām .
They find no place of rest in the Court of the Lord, O my soul; those self-willed manmukhs are deluded by sin.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਉਬਰੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥

O servant Nanak, those who meet the Guru are saved, O my soul; chanting the Name of the Lord, they are absorbed in the Name of the Lord. ||1||
ਸਭਿ ਜਾਇ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
sabh jāi milah satigurū kau mērī jindurīē jō har har nām drirāvai rām .
Go, everyone, and meet the True Guru; O my soul, He implants the Name of the Lord, Har, har, within the heart.
ਹਰਿ ਜਪਦਿਆ ਖਿਨੁ ਢਿਲ ਨ ਕੀਜਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਮਤੁ ਕਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਸਾਹੁ ਆਵੈ ਕਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
har japadiā khin dhil n kījaī mērī jindurīē mat k jāpai sāh āvai k n āvai rām .
Do not hesitate for an instant - meditate on the Lord, O my soul; who knows whether he shall draw another breath?
ਸਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਸੋ ਮੂਰਤੁ ਸਾ ਘੜੀ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਤੁ ਸਫਲੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
sā vēlā sō mūrat sā gharī sō muhat saphal hai mērī jindurīē jit har mērā chit āvai rām .
That time, that moment, that instant, that second is so fruitful, O my soul, when my Lord comes into my mind.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
jan nānak nām dhiāiā mērī jindurīē jamakankar nēr n āvai rām .2.
Servant Nanak has meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, O my soul, and now, the Messenger of Death does not draw near him. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਨਿਤ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸੋ ਡਰੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
har vēkhai sunai nit sabh kish mērī jindurīē sō darai jin pāp kamatē rām .
The Lord continually watches, and hears everything, O my soul; he alone is afraid, who commits sins.
ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਸੁਧੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਤਿਨਿ ਜਨਿ ਸਭਿ ਡਰ ਸੁਟਿ ਘਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
jis antar hiradā sudh hai mērī jindurīē tin jan sabh dar sut ghatē rām .
One whose heart is pure within, O my soul, casts off all his fears.
ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਾਮਿ ਪਤੀਜਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸਭਿ ਝਖ ਮਾਰਨੁ ਦੁਸਟ ਕੁਪਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
har nirabhau nām patījiā mērī jindurīē sabh jhakh māran dusat kupatē rām .
One who has faith in the Fearless Name of the Lord, O my soul - all his enemies and attackers speak against him in vain.
