ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਘਾਲ ॥

In the Company of the Holy, there is no suffering.
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਭੇਟਤ ਹੋਤ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
darasan bhētat hōt nihāl .
The Blessed Vision of their Darshan brings a sublime, happy peace.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਲੂਖਤ ਹਰੈ ॥
sādh kai sang kalūkhat harai .
In the Company of the Holy, blemishes are removed.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਰਕ ਪਰਹਰੈ ॥
sādh kai sang narak paraharai .
In the Company of the Holy, hell is far away.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ॥
sādh kai sang īhā ūhā suhēlā .
In the Company of the Holy, one is happy here and hereafter.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਬਿਛੁਰਤ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਾ ॥
sādhasang bishurat har mēlā .
In the Company of the Holy, the separated ones are reunited with the Lord.
ਜੋ ਇਛੈ ਸੋਈ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jō ishai sōī phal pāvai .
The fruits of one's desires are obtained.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
sādh kai sang n birathā jāvai .
In the Company of the Holy, no one goes empty-handed.
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਸਾਧ ਰਿਦ ਬਸੈ ॥
pārabraham sādh rid basai .
The Supreme Lord God dwells in the hearts of the Holy.
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੈ ਸਾਧ ਸੁਨਿ ਰਸੈ ॥੬॥
nānak udharai sādh sun rasai .6.
O Nanak, listening to the sweet words of the Holy, one is saved. ||6||
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੁਨਉ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥
sādh kai sang sunau har nāu .
In the Company of the Holy, listen to the Name of the Lord.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਉ ॥
sādhasang har kē gun gāu .
In the Company of the Holy, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਬਿਸਰੈ ॥
sādh kai sang n man tē bisarai .
In the Company of the Holy, do not forget Him from your mind.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਸਰਪਰ ਨਿਸਤਰੈ ॥
sādhasang sarapar nisatarai .
In the Company of the Holy, you shall surely be saved.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਲਗੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੀਠਾ ॥
sādh kai sang lagai prabh mīthā .
In the Company of the Holy, God seems very sweet.
ਸਾਧੂ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਡੀਠਾ ॥
sādhū kai sang ghat ghat dīthā .
In the Company of the Holy, He is seen in each and every heart.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭਏ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ॥
sādhasang bhaē āgiākārī .
In the Company of the Holy, we become obedient to the Lord.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਗਤਿ ਭਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥
sādhasang gat bhaī hamārī .
In the Company of the Holy, we obtain the state of salvation.
ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਟੇ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ॥
sādh kai sang mitē sabh rōg .
In the Company of the Holy, all diseases are cured.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਭੇਟੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥੭॥
nānak sādh bhētē sanjōg .7.
O Nanak, one meets with the Holy, by highest destiny. ||7||
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬੇਦ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ॥
sādh kī mahimā bēd n jānah .
The glory of the Holy people is not known to the Vedas.
ਜੇਤਾ ਸੁਨਹਿ ਤੇਤਾ ਬਖਿਆਨਹਿ ॥
jētā sunah tētā bakhiānah .
They can describe only what they have heard.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਤਿਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਤੇ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
sādh kī upamā tih gun tē dūr .
The greatness of the Holy people is beyond the three qualities.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਰਹੀ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
sādh kī upamā rahī bharapūr .
The greatness of the Holy people is all-pervading.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਕਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਅੰਤ ॥
sādh kī sōbhā kā nāhī ant .
The glory of the Holy people has no limit.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਦਾ ਬੇਅੰਤ ॥
sādh kī sōbhā sadā bēant .
The glory of the Holy people is infinite and eternal.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚੀ ॥
sādh kī sōbhā ūch tē ūchī .
The glory of the Holy people is the highest of the high.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਮੂਚ ਤੇ ਮੂਚੀ ॥
sādh kī sōbhā mūch tē mūchī .
The glory of the Holy people is the greatest of the great.
ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਾਧ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ ॥
sādh kī sōbhā sādh ban āī .
The glory of the Holy people is theirs alone;
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਭਾਈ ॥੮॥੭॥
nānak sādh prabh bhēd n bhāī .8.7.
O Nanak, there is no difference between the Holy people and God. ||8||7||

ਮਨਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
man sāchā mukh sāchā sōi .
The True One is on his mind, and the True One is upon his lips.
ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਪੇਖੈ ਏਕਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੋਇ ॥
avar n pēkhai ēkas bin kōi .
He sees only the One.
ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹ ਲਛਣ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥
nānak ih lashan braham giānī hōi .1.
O Nanak, these are the qualities of the God-conscious being. ||1||

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ॥
braham giānī sadā niralēp .
The God-conscious being is always unattached,
ਜੈਸੇ ਜਲ ਮਹਿ ਕਮਲ ਅਲੇਪ ॥
jaisē jal mah kamal alēp .
as the lotus in the water remains detached.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰਦੋਖ ॥
braham giānī sadā niradōkh .
The God-conscious being is always unstained,
ਜੈਸੇ ਸੂਰੁ ਸਰਬ ਕਉ ਸੋਖ ॥
jaisē sūr sarab kau sōkh .
like the sun, which gives its comfort and warmth to all.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
braham giānī kai drisat samān .
The God-conscious being looks upon all alike,
ਜੈਸੇ ਰਾਜ ਰੰਕ ਕਉ ਲਾਗੈ ਤੁਲਿ ਪਵਾਨ ॥
jaisē rāj rank kau lāgai tul pavān .
like the wind, which blows equally upon the king and the poor beggar.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਧੀਰਜੁ ਏਕ ॥
braham giānī kai dhīraj ēk .
The God-conscious being has a steady patience,
ਜਿਉ ਬਸੁਧਾ ਕੋਊ ਖੋਦੈ ਕੋਊ ਚੰਦਨ ਲੇਪ ॥
jiu basudhā kōū khōdai kōū chandan lēp .
like the earth, which is dug up by one, and anointed with sandal paste by another.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਇਹੈ ਗੁਨਾਉ ॥
braham giānī kā ihai gunāu .
This is the quality of the God-conscious being:
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਉ ਪਾਵਕ ਕਾ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਉ ॥੧॥
nānak jiu pāvak kā sahaj subhāu .1.
O Nanak, his inherent nature is like a warming fire. ||1||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਲਾ ॥
braham giānī niramal tē niramalā .
The God-conscious being is the purest of the pure;
ਜੈਸੇ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਜਲਾ ॥
jaisē mail n lāgai jalā .
filth does not stick to water.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥
braham giānī kai man hōi pragās .
The God-conscious being's mind is enlightened,
ਜੈਸੇ ਧਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਕਾਸੁ ॥
jaisē dhar ūpar ākās .
like the sky above the earth.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਮਾਨਿ ॥
braham giānī kai mitr satr samān .
To the God-conscious being, friend and foe are the same.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ॥
braham giānī kai nāhī abhimān .
The God-conscious being has no egotistical pride.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ॥
braham giānī ūch tē ūchā .
The God-conscious being is the highest of the high.
ਮਨਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨੀਚਾ ॥
man apanai hai sabh tē nīchā .
Within his own mind, he is the most humble of all.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਭਏ ॥
braham giānī sē jan bhaē .
They alone become God-conscious beings,
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੨॥
nānak jin prabh āp karēi .2.
O Nanak, whom God Himself makes so. ||2||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਗਲ ਕੀ ਰੀਨਾ ॥
braham giānī sagal kī rīnā .
The God-conscious being is the dust of all.
ਆਤਮ ਰਸੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਚੀਨਾ ॥
ātam ras braham giānī chīnā .
The God-conscious being knows the nature of the soul.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਊਪਰਿ ਮਇਆ ॥
braham giānī kī sabh ūpar maiā .
The God-conscious being shows kindness to all.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਬੁਰਾ ਨ ਭਇਆ ॥
braham giānī tē kash burā n bhaiā .
No evil comes from the God-conscious being.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਮਦਰਸੀ ॥
braham giānī sadā samadarasī .
The God-conscious being is always impartial.
