ਗਉੜੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ॥
gaurī kabīr jī .
Gauree, Kabeer Jee:
ਜਿਹ ਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਂਚਉ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਖਾਏ ॥
jih mukh pānhchau anmrit khāē .
That mouth, which used to eat the five delicacies
ਤਿਹ ਮੁਖ ਦੇਖਤ ਲੂਕਟ ਲਾਏ ॥੧॥
tih mukh dēkhat lūkat lāē .1.
- I have seen the flames being applied to that mouth. ||1||
ਇਕੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਕਾਟਹੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥
ik dukh rām rāi kātah mērā .
O Lord, my King, please rid me of this one affliction:
ਅਗਨਿ ਦਹੈ ਅਰੁ ਗਰਭ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
agan dahai ar garabh basērā .1. rahāu .
may I not be burned in fire, or cast into the womb again. ||1||Pause||
ਕਾਇਆ ਬਿਗੂਤੀ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਭਾਤੀ ॥
kāiā bigūtī bah bidh bhātī .
The body is destroyed by so many ways and means.
ਕੋ ਜਾਰੇ ਕੋ ਗਡਿ ਲੇ ਮਾਟੀ ॥੨॥
kō jārē kō gad lē mātī .2.
Some burn it, and some bury it in the earth. ||2||
ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਦਿਖਾਵਹੁ ॥
kah kabīr har charan dikhāvah .
Says Kabeer, O Lord, please reveal to me Your Lotus Feet;
ਪਾਛੈ ਤੇ ਜਮੁ ਕਿਉ ਨ ਪਠਾਵਹੁ ॥੩॥੩੨॥
pāshai tē jam kiu n pathāvah .3.32.
after that, go ahead and send me to my death. ||3||32||
