ਇਕਿ ਭੂਖੇ ਇਕਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਏ ਸਭਸੈ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਾਰਣਾ ॥੩॥
ik bhūkhē ik tripat aghāē sabhasai tērā pāranā .3.
Some are hungry and some are satisfied and satiated, but all lean on Your Support. ||3||
ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਾਚਾ ॥
āpē sat sat sat sāchā .
The True Lord Himself is True, True, True.
ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ਭਗਤਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਰਾਚਾ ॥
ōt pōt bhagatan sang rāchā .
He is woven into the essence of His devotees, through and through.
ਆਪੇ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਆਪੇ ਹੈ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਅਪਣਾ ਆਪੁ ਪਸਾਰਣਾ ॥੪॥
āpē gupat āpē hai paragat apanā āp pasāranā .4.
He Himself is hidden, and He Himself is revealed. He Himself spreads Himself out. ||4||
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਹੋਵਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
sadā sadā sad hōvanahārā .
Forever, forever and ever, He shall always exist.
ਊਚਾ ਅਗਮੁ ਅਥਾਹੁ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
ūchā agam athāh apārā .
He is lofty, inaccessible, unfathomable and infinite.
ਊਣੇ ਭਰੇ ਭਰੇ ਭਰਿ ਊਣੇ ਏਹਿ ਚਲਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਣਾ ॥੫॥
ūnē bharē bharē bhar ūnē ēh chalat suāmī kē kāranā .5.
He fills the empty, and empties out the filled; such are the plays and dramas of my Lord and Master. ||5||
ਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਸਚੇ ਸਾਹਾ ॥
mukh sālāhī sachē sāhā .
With my mouth, I praise my True Lord King.
ਨੈਣੀ ਪੇਖਾ ਅਗਮ ਅਥਾਹਾ ॥
nainī pēkhā agam athāhā .
With my eyes, I behold the inaccessible and unfathomable Lord.
ਕਰਨੀ ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਗਲ ਉਧਾਰਣਾ ॥੬॥
karanī sun sun man tan hariā mērē sāhib sagal udhāranā .6.
Listening, listening with my ears, my mind and body are rejuvenated; my Lord and Master saves all. ||6||
ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖਹਿ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਪਣਾ ॥
kar kar vēkhah kītā apanā .
He created the creation, and gazes upon what He has created.
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਪਣਾ ॥
jī jant sōī hai japanā .
All beings and creatures meditate on Him.
ਅਪਣੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਨਦਰੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਣਾ ॥੭॥
apanī kudarat āpē jānai nadarī nadar nihālanā .7.
He Himself knows His creative power; He blesses with His Glance of Grace. ||7||
ਸੰਤ ਸਭਾ ਜਹ ਬੈਸਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਸੇ ॥
sant sabhā jah baisah prabh pāsē .
Where the Saints gather together and sit, God dwells close at hand.
ਅਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਹਰਿ ਚਲਤ ਤਮਾਸੇ ॥
anand mangal har chalat tamāsē .
They abide in bliss and joy, beholding the Lord's wondrous play.
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਅਨਹਦ ਧੁਨਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਤਹ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਚਿਤਾਰਣਾ ॥੮॥
gun gāvah anahad dhun bānī tah nānak dās chitāranā .8.
They sing the Glories of the Lord, and the unstruck sound current of His Bani; O Nanak, His slaves remain conscious of Him. ||8||
ਆਵਣੁ ਜਾਣਾ ਸਭੁ ਚਲਤੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ॥
āvan jānā sabh chalat tumārā .
Coming and going is all Your wondrous play.
ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਖੇਲੁ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
kar kar dēkhai khēl apārā .
Creating the Creation, You gaze upon Your infinite play.
ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਏ ਉਪਾਵਣਹਾਰਾ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੀਆ ਪਾਲਣਾ ॥੯॥
āp upāē upāvanahārā apanā kīā pālanā .9.
Creating the Creation, You Yourself cherish and nurture it. ||9||
ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਸੋਇ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ॥
sun sun jīvā sōi tumārī .
Listening, listening to Your Glory, I live.
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਾਈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
sadā sadā jāī balihārī .
Forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to You.
ਦੁਇ ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਸਿਮਰਉ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਣਾ ॥੧੦॥
dui kar jōr simarau din rātī mērē suāmī agam apāranā .10.
With my palms pressed together, I meditate in remembrance on You, day and night, O my inaccessible, infinite Lord and Master. ||10||
ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜੇ ਕਿਸੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ॥
tudh bin dūjē kis sālāhī .
Other than You, who else should I praise?
ਏਕੋ ਏਕੁ ਜਪੀ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
ēkō ēk japī man māhī .
I meditate on the One and Only Lord within my mind.
ਹੁਕਮੁ ਬੂਝਿ ਜਨ ਭਏ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਭਗਤਾ ਕੀ ਘਾਲਣਾ ॥੧੧॥
hukam būjh jan bhaē nihālā ih bhagatā kī ghālanā .11.
Realizing the Hukam of Your Will, Your humble servants are enraptured; this is the achievement of Your devotees. ||11||
ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਮਨਿ ਸਾਚਾ ॥
gur upadēs japīai man sāchā .
Following the Guru's Teachings, I meditate on the True Lord within my mind.
ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਰਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਚਾ ॥
gur upadēs rām rang rāchā .
Following the Guru's Teachings, I am immersed in the Lord's Love.
ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸਿ ਤੁਟਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਬੰਧਨ ਇਹੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਪਰਜਾਲਣਾ ॥੧੨॥
gur upadēs tutah sabh bandhan ih bharam mōh parajālanā .12.
Following the Guru's Teachings, all bonds are broken, and this doubt and emotional attachment are burnt away. ||12||
ਜਹ ਰਾਖੈ ਸੋਈ ਸੁਖ ਥਾਨਾ ॥
jah rākhai sōī sukh thānā .
Wherever He keeps me, is my place of rest.
ਸਹਜੇ ਹੋਇ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਮਾਨਾ ॥
sahajē hōi sōī bhal mānā .
Whatever naturally happens, I accept that as good.
ਬਿਨਸੇ ਬੈਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਬੈਰੀ ਸਭੁ ਏਕੋ ਹੈ ਭਾਲਣਾ ॥੧੩॥
binasē bair nāhī kō bairī sabh ēkō hai bhālanā .13.
Hatred is gone - I have no hatred at all; I see the One Lord in all. ||13||
ਡਰ ਚੂਕੇ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਅੰਧਿਆਰੇ ॥
dar chūkē binasē andhiārē .
Fear has been removed, and darkness has been dispelled.
ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਰਾਰੇ ॥
pragat bhaē prabh purakh nirārē .
The all-powerful, primal, detached Lord God has been revealed.
ਆਪੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਪਏ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਸਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਘਾਲਣਾ ॥੧੪॥
āp shōd paē saranāī jis kā sā tis ghālanā .14.
Forsaking self-conceit, I have entered His Sanctuary, and I work for Him. ||14||
ਐਸਾ ਕੋ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਆਇਆ ॥
aisā kō vadabhāgī āiā .
Rare are those few, very blessed people, who come into the world,
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਜਿਨਿ ਖਸਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
āth pahar jin khasam dhiāiā .
and meditate on their Lord and Master, twenty-four hours a day.
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਰੈ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ਸੋ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਸਧਾਰਣਾ ॥੧੫॥
tis jan kai sang tarai sabh kōī sō paravār sadhāranā .15.
Associating with such humble people, all are saved, and their families are saved as well. ||15||

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਇਹ ਬਖਸੀਸ ਖਸਮ ਤੇ ਪਾਵਾ ॥
ih bakhasīs khasam tē pāvā .
This is the blessing which I have received from my Lord and Master.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਧਿਆਵਾ ॥
āth pahar kar jōr dhiāvā .
Twenty-four hours a day, with my palms pressed together, I meditate on Him.
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੀ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲੈ ਉਚਾਰਣਾ ॥੧੬॥੧॥੬॥
nām japī nām sahaj samāvā nām nānak milai uchāranā .16.1.6.
I chant the Naam, and through the Naam, I intuitively merge into the Lord; O Nanak, may I be blessed with the Naam, and ever repeat it. ||16||1||6||
ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਏਕੋ ਤੂਹੈ ॥
jō dīsai sō ēkō tūhai .
Whatever is seen is You, O One Lord.
ਬਾਣੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਵਣਿ ਸੁਣੀਐ ॥
bānī tērī sravan sunīai .
What the ears hear is the Word of Your Bani.
ਦੂਜੀ ਅਵਰ ਨ ਜਾਪਸਿ ਕਾਈ ਸਗਲ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਧਾਰਣਾ ॥੧॥
dūjī avar n jāpas kāī sagal tumārī dhāranā .1.
There is nothing else to be seen at all. You give support to all. ||1||
ਆਪਿ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ਅਪਣਾ ਕੀਆ ॥
āp chitārē apanā kīā .
You Yourself are conscious of Your Creation.
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਥੀਆ ॥
āpē āp āp prabh thīā .
You Yourself established Yourself, O God.
ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਇ ਰਚਿਓਨੁ ਪਸਾਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਾਰਣਾ ॥੨॥
āp upāi rachiōn pasārā āpē ghat ghat sāranā .2.
Creating Yourself, You formed the expanse of the Universe; You Yourself cherish and sustain each and every heart. ||2||
ਇਕਿ ਉਪਾਏ ਵਡ ਦਰਵਾਰੀ ॥
ik upāē vad daravārī .
You created some to hold great and royal courts.
ਇਕਿ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਇਕਿ ਘਰ ਬਾਰੀ ॥
ik udāsī ik ghar bārī .
Some turn away from the world in renunciation, and some maintain their households.
