ਆਪੇ ਸਚੁ ਧਾਰਿਓ ਸਭੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਚੇ ਸਚਿ ਵਰਤੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੪॥
āpē sach dhāriō sabh sāchā sachē sach varatījā hē .4.
He Himself is True, and true is all that He has established. True is the prevailing Order of the True Lord. ||4||
ਸਚੁ ਤਪਾਵਸੁ ਸਚੇ ਕੇਰਾ ॥
sach tapāvas sachē kērā .
True is the justice of the True Lord.
ਸਾਚਾ ਥਾਨੁ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰਾ ॥
sāchā thān sadā prabh tērā .
Your place is forever True, O God.
ਸਚੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਸਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੁਖੁ ਕੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੫॥
sachī kudarat sachī bānī sach sāhib sukh kījā hē .5.
True is Your Creative Power, and True is the Word of Your Bani. True is the peace which You give, O my Lord and Master. ||5||
ਏਕੋ ਆਪਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਵਡ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ēkō āp tūhai vad rājā .
You alone are the greatest king.
ਹੁਕਮਿ ਸਚੇ ਕੈ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਾਜਾ ॥
hukam sachē kai pūrē kājā .
By the Hukam of Your Command, O True Lord, our affairs are fulfilled.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਿ ਪਤੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੬॥
antar bāhar sabh kish jānai āpē hī āp patījā hē .6.
Inwardly and outwardly, You know everything; You Yourself are pleased with Yourself. ||6||
ਤੂ ਵਡ ਰਸੀਆ ਤੂ ਵਡ ਭੋਗੀ ॥
tū vad rasīā tū vad bhōgī .
You are the great party-goer, You are the great enjoyer.
ਤੂ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੁ ਤੂਹੈ ਹੀ ਜੋਗੀ ॥
tū nirabān tūhai hī jōgī .
You are detached in Nirvaanaa, You are the Yogi.
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਘਰਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਅਮਿਉ ਤੇਰੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੭॥
sarab sūkh sahaj ghar tērai amiu tērī drisatījā hē .7.
All celestial comforts are in Your home; Your Glance of Grace rains Nectar. ||7||
ਤੇਰੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਤੁਝੈ ਤੇ ਹੋਵੈ ॥
tērī dāt tujhai tē hōvai .
You alone give Your gifts.
ਦੇਹਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਸਭਸੈ ਜੰਤ ਲੋਐ ॥
dēh dān sabhasai jant lōai .
You grant Your gifts unto all the beings of the world.
ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਪੂਰ ਭੰਡਾਰੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਰਹੇ ਆਘੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੮॥
tōt n āvai pūr bhandārai tripat rahē āghījā hē .8.
Your treasures are overflowing, and are never exhausted; through them, we remain satisfied and fulfilled. ||8||
ਜਾਚਹਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਬਨਵਾਸੀ ॥
jāchah sidh sādhik banavāsī .
The Siddhas, seekers and forest-dwellers beg from You.
ਜਾਚਹਿ ਜਤੀ ਸਤੀ ਸੁਖਵਾਸੀ ॥
jāchah jatī satī sukhavāsī .
The celibates and abstainers, and those who abide in peace beg from You.
ਇਕੁ ਦਾਤਾਰੁ ਸਗਲ ਹੈ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਦੇਹਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੯॥
ik dātār sagal hai jāchik dēh dān srisatījā hē .9.
You alone are the Great Giver; all are beggars of You. You bless all the world with Your gifts. ||9||
ਕਰਹਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਅਰੁ ਰੰਗ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
karah bhagat ar rang apārā .
Your devotees worship You with infinite love.
ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰਾ ॥
khin mah thāp uthāpanahārā .
In an instant, You establish and disestablish.
ਭਾਰੋ ਤੋਲੁ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਭਗਤੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੦॥
bhārō tōl bēant suāmī hukam mann bhagatījā hē .10.
Your weight is so heavy, O my infinite Lord and Master. Your devotees surrender to the Hukam of Your Command. ||10||
ਜਿਸੁ ਦੇਹਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਸੋਈ ਤੁਧੁ ਜਾਣੈ ॥
jis dēh daras sōī tudh jānai .
They alone know You, whom You bless with Your Glance of Grace.
ਓਹੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਣੈ ॥
ōh gur kai sabad sadā rang mānai .
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, they enjoy Your Love forever.
ਚਤੁਰੁ ਸਰੂਪੁ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਸੋਈ ਜੋ ਮਨਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਭਾਵੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੧॥
chatur sarūp siānā sōī jō man tērai bhāvījā hē .11.
They alone are clever, handsome and wise, who are pleasing to Your Mind. ||11||
ਜਿਸੁ ਚੀਤਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਸੋ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹਾ ॥
jis chīt āvah sō vēparavāhā .
One who keeps You in his consciousness, becomes carefree and independent.
ਜਿਸੁ ਚੀਤਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਸੋ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਾ ॥
jis chīt āvah sō sāchā sāhā .
One who keeps You in his consciousness, is the true king.
ਜਿਸੁ ਚੀਤਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਉ ਕੇਹਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਕਹਾ ਕਿਛੁ ਕੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੨॥
jis chīt āvah tis bhau kēhā avar kahā kish kījā hē .12.
One who keeps You in his consciousness - what does he have to fear? And what else does he need to do? ||12||
ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਬੂਝੀ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਠੰਢਾ ॥
trisanā būjhī antar thandhā .
Thirst and desire are quenched, and one's inner being is cooled and soothed.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਲੈ ਤੂਟਾ ਗੰਢਾ ॥
gur pūrai lai tūtā gandhā .
The True Guru has mended the broken one.
ਸੁਰਤਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਰਿਦ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਜਾਗੀ ਅਮਿਉ ਝੋਲਿ ਝੋਲਿ ਪੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੩॥
surat sabad rid antar jāgī amiu jhōl jhōl pījā hē .13.
Awareness of the Word of the Shabad has awakened within my heart. Shaking it and vibrating it, I drink in the Ambrosial Nectar. ||13||
ਮਰੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਸਦ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਜੀਵੈ ॥
marai nāhī sad sad hī jīvai .
I shall not die; I shall live forever and ever.
ਅਮਰੁ ਭਇਆ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਥੀਵੈ ॥
amar bhaiā abināsī thīvai .
I have become immortal; I am eternal and imperishable.
ਨਾ ਕੋ ਆਵੈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਜਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੂਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਭਰਮੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੪॥
nā kō āvai nā kō jāvai gur dūr kīā bharamījā hē .14.
I do not come, and I do not go. The Guru has driven out my doubts. ||14||
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥
pūrē gur kī pūrī bānī .
Perfect is the Word of the Perfect Guru.
ਪੂਰੈ ਲਾਗਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥
pūrai lāgā pūrē māh samānī .
One who is attached to the Perfect Lord, is immersed in the Perfect Lord.
ਚੜੈ ਸਵਾਇਆ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਰੰਗਾ ਘਟੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਤੋਲੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੫॥
charai savāiā nit nit rangā ghatai nāhī tōlījā hē .15.
His love increases day by day, and when it is weighed, it does not decrease. ||15||
ਬਾਰਹਾ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਸੁਧੁ ਕਰਾਇਆ ॥
bārahā kanchan sudh karāiā .
When the gold is made one hundred percent pure,
ਮਾਰੂ ਸੋਲਹੇ ਮਹਲਾ ੫

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਨਦਰਿ ਸਰਾਫ ਵੰਨੀ ਸਚੜਾਇਆ ॥
nadar sarāph vannī sacharāiā .
its color is true to the jeweller's eye.
ਪਰਖਿ ਖਜਾਨੈ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਰਾਫੀ ਫਿਰਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਾਈਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੬॥
parakh khajānai pāiā sarāphī phir nāhī tāījā hē .16.
Assaying it, it is placed in the treasury by God the Jeweller, and it is not melted down again. ||16||
ਕਰੈ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਅਨੰਦੀ ਮੇਰਾ ॥
karai anand anandī mērā .
My Blissful Lord is forever in bliss.
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਪੂਰਨੁ ਸਿਰ ਸਿਰਹਿ ਨਿਬੇਰਾ ॥
ghat ghat pūran sir sirah nibērā .
He fills each and every heart, and judges each and everyone.
ਸਿਰਿ ਸਾਹਾ ਕੈ ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਦੂਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧॥
sir sāhā kai sachā sāhib avar nāhī kō dūjā hē .1.
The True Lord and Master is above the heads of all kings; there is none other than Him. ||1||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
anmrit nām tumārā suāmī .
Your Naam is Ambrosial Nectar, O my Lord and Master.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਸਦਾ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥
nānak dās sadā kurabānī .
Nanak, Your slave, is forever a sacrifice to You.
ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਮਹਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਦੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੭॥੧॥੩॥
santasang mahā sukh pāiā dēkh darasan ih man bhījā hē .17.1.3.
In the Society of the Saints, I have found great peace; gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, this mind is pleased and satisfied. ||17||1||3||
ਹਰਖਵੰਤ ਆਨੰਤ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
harakhavant ānant daiālā .
He is joyful, blissful and merciful.
ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਰਬ ਉਜਾਲਾ ॥
pragat rahiō prabh sarab ujālā .
God's Light is manifest everywhere.
ਰੂਪ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਿ ਪੂਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੨॥
rūp karē kar vēkhai vigasai āpē hī āp pūjā hē .2.
He creates forms, and gazing upon them, He enjoys them; He Himself worships Himself. ||2||
ਆਪੇ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥
āpē kudarat karē vīchārā .
He contemplates His own creative power.
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸਚੁ ਕਰੇ ਪਸਾਰਾ ॥
āpē hī sach karē pasārā .
The True Lord Himself creates the expanse of the Universe.
ਆਪੇ ਖੇਲ ਖਿਲਾਵੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਭੀਜਾ ਹੇ ॥੩॥
āpē khēl khilāvai din rātī āpē sun sun bhījā hē .3.
He Himself stages the play, day and night; He Himself listens, and hearing, rejoices. ||3||
ਸਾਚਾ ਤਖਤੁ ਸਚੀ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ॥
sāchā takhat sachī pātisāhī .
True is His throne, and True is His kingdom.
ਸਚੁ ਖਜੀਨਾ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹੀ ॥
sach khajīnā sāchā sāhī .
True is the treasure of the True Banker.
