ਨਰਨਰਹ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੰ ॥
naranarah namasakāran .
I humbly bow to the Lord, the Supreme Being.
ਜਲਨ ਥਲਨ ਬਸੁਧ ਗਗਨ ਏਕ ਏਕੰਕਾਰੰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jalan thalan basudh gagan ēk ēkankāran .1. rahāu .
The One, the One and Only Creator Lord permeates the water, the land, the earth and the sky. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਨ ਧਰਨ ਪੁਨ ਪੁਨਹ ਕਰਨ ॥
haran dharan pun punah karan .
Over and over again, the Creator Lord destroys, sustains and creates.
ਨਹ ਗਿਰਹ ਨਿਰੰਹਾਰੰ ॥੧॥
nah girah niranhāran .1.
He has no home; He needs no nourishment. ||1||
ਗੰਭੀਰ ਧੀਰ ਨਾਮ ਹੀਰ ਊਚ ਮੂਚ ਅਪਾਰੰ ॥
ganbhīr dhīr nām hīr ūch mūch apāran .
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is deep and profound, strong, poised, lofty, exalted and infinite.
ਕਰਨ ਕੇਲ ਗੁਣ ਅਮੋਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੰ ॥੨॥੧॥੫੯॥
karan kēl gun amōl nānak balihāran .2.1.59.
He stages His plays; His Virtues are priceless. Nanak is a sacrifice to Him. ||2||1||59||
