Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:
ਐਸਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰਦੇਉ ਸਹਾਈ ॥
aisā pūrā guradēu sahāī .
Such is the Perfect Divine Guru, my help and support.
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jā kā simaran birathā n jāī .1. rahāu .
Meditation on Him is not wasted. ||1||Pause||
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪੇਖਤ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ॥
darasan pēkhat hōi nihāl .
Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, I am enraptured.
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਕਾਟੈ ਜਮ ਜਾਲੁ ॥
jā kī dhūr kātai jam jāl .
The dust of His feet snaps the noose of Death.
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਬਸੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਕੇ ॥
charan kamal basē mērē man kē .
His lotus feet dwell within my mind,
ਕਾਰਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਸਗਲੇ ਤਨ ਕੇ ॥੧॥
kāraj savārē sagalē tan kē .1.
and so all the affairs of my body are arranged and resolved. ||1||
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਹਾਥੁ ॥
jā kai masatak rākhai hāth .
One upon whom He places His Hand, is protected.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰੋ ਅਨਾਥ ਕੋ ਨਾਥੁ ॥
prabh mērō anāth kō nāth .
My God is the Master of the masterless.
ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਣੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
patit udhāran kripā nidhān .
He is the Savior of sinners, the treasure of mercy.
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਾਈਐ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ॥੨॥
sadā sadā jāīai kurabān .2.
Forever and ever, I am a sacrifice to Him. ||2||
ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤੁ ਦੇਇ ਜਿਸੁ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
niramal mant dēi jis dān .
One whom He blesses with His Immaculate Mantra,
ਤਜਹਿ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥
tajah bikār binasai abhimān .
renounces corruption; his egotistical pride is dispelled.
ਏਕੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
ēk dhiāīai sādh kai sang .
Meditate on the One Lord in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਪਾਪ ਬਿਨਾਸੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥੩॥
pāp bināsē nām kai rang .3.
Sins are erased, through the love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||3||
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਸਗਲ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥
gur paramēsur sagal nivās .
The Guru, the Transcendent Lord, dwells among all.
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਗੁਣਤਾਸ ॥
ghat ghat rav rahiā gunatās .
The treasure of virtue pervades and permeates each and every heart.
ਦਰਸੁ ਦੇਹਿ ਧਾਰਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਸ ॥
daras dēh dhārau prabh ās .
Please grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan;
ਨਿਤ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਚਿਤਵੈ ਸਚੁ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੪॥੪੫॥੫੬॥
nit nānak chitavai sach aradās .4.45.56.
O God, I place my hopes in You. Nanak continually offers this true prayer. ||4||45||56||
