Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਪਾਪ ॥
kōt janam kē binasē pāp .
The sins of millions of incarnations are eradicated.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਤ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੰਤਾਪ ॥
har har japat nāhī santāp .
Meditating on the Lord, Har, Har, pain will not afflict you.
ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੇ ॥
gur kē charan kamal man vasē .
When the Lord's lotus feet are enshrined in the mind,
ਮਹਾ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਨਸੇ ॥੧॥
mahā bikār tan tē sabh nasē .1.
all terrible evils are taken away from the body. ||1||
ਗੋਪਾਲ ਕੋ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥
gōpāl kō jas gāu prānī .
Sing the Praise of the Lord of the World, O mortal being.
ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਸਾਚੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪੂਰਨ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
akath kathā sāchī prabh pūran jōtī jōt samānī .1. rahāu .
The Unspoken Speech of the True Lord God is perfect. Dwelling upon it, one's light merges into the Light. ||1||Pause||
ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਭੂਖ ਸਭ ਨਾਸੀ ॥
trisanā bhūkh sabh nāsī .
Hunger and thirst are totally quenched;
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥
sant prasād japiā abināsī .
by the Grace of the Saints, meditate on the immortal Lord.
ਰੈਨਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਨੀ ॥
rain dinas prabh sēv kamānī .
Night and day, serve God.
ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਣੈ ਕੀ ਏਹ ਨੀਸਾਨੀ ॥੨॥
har milanai kī ēh nīsānī .2.
This is the sign that one has met with the Lord. ||2||
ਮਿਟੇ ਜੰਜਾਲ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
mitē janjāl hōē prabh daiāl .
Worldly entanglements are ended, when God becomes merciful.
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
gur kā darasan dēkh nihāl .
Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan, I am enraptured.
ਪਰਾ ਪੂਰਬਲਾ ਕਰਮੁ ਬਣਿ ਆਇਆ ॥
parā pūrabalā karam ban āiā .
My perfect pre-destined karma has been activated.
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਤ ਰਸਨਾ ਗਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
har kē gun nit rasanā gāiā .3.
With my tongue, I continually sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
har kē sant sadā paravān .
The Saints of the Lord are accepted and approved forever.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ॥
sant janā masatak nīsān .
The foreheads of the Saintly people are marked with the Lord's insignia.
ਦਾਸ ਕੀ ਰੇਣੁ ਪਾਏ ਜੇ ਕੋਇ ॥
dās kī rēn pāē jē kōi .
One who is blessed with the dust of the feet of the Lord's slave,
ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਪਰਮ ਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੩੫॥੪੬॥
nānak tis kī param gat hōi .4.35.46.
O Nanak, obtains the supreme status. ||4||35||46||
