ਢਾਕਨ ਢਾਕਿ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਗੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੋਹਿ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਸਰਨ ਚਰਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Please cover my faults, Lord of the Universe, O my Guru; I am a sinner - I seek the Sanctuary of Your Feet. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕੀਨੋ ਸੋ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ ਜਾਨਿਓ ਪੇਖਿਓ ਠਉਰ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਢੀਠ ਮੁਕਰਨ ॥
jō jō kīnō sō tumh jāniō pēkhiō thaur nāhī kash dhīth mukaran .
Whatever we do, You see and know; there is no way anyone can stubbornly deny this.
ਬਡ ਪਰਤਾਪੁ ਸੁਨਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਰੋ ਕੋਟਿ ਅਘਾ ਤੇਰੋ ਨਾਮ ਹਰਨ ॥੧॥
bad paratāp suniō prabh tumharō kōt aghā tērō nām haran .1.
Your glorious radiance is great! So I have heard, O God. Millions of sins are destroyed by Your Name. ||1||
ਹਮਰੋ ਸਹਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਭੂਲਨ ਤੁਮ੍ਹਰੋ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਰਨ ॥
hamarō sahāu sadā sad bhūlan tumharō birad patit udharan .
It is my nature to make mistakes, forever and ever; it is Your Natural Way to save sinners.
ਕਰੁਣਾ ਮੈ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਦ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੧੮॥
karunā mai kirapāl kripā nidh jīvan pad nānak har darasan .2.2.118.
