ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਜਪਿ ਜਾਂਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ॥
har kē charan jap jānhu kurabān .
I meditate on the Lord's Feet; I am a sacrifice to Them.
ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਧਰਿ ਮਨ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur mērā pārabraham paramēsur tā kā hiradai dhar man dhiān .1. rahāu .
My Guru is the Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord; I enshrine Him within my heart, and meditate on Him within my mind. ||1||Pause||
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਗਲ ਜਹਾਨੁ ॥
simar simar simar sukhadātā jā kā kīā sagal jahān .
Meditate, meditate, meditate in remembrance on the Giver of peace, who created the whole Universe.
ਰਸਨਾ ਰਵਹੁ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਰਾਇਣੁ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥
rasanā ravah ēk nārāin sāchī daragah pāvah mān .1.
With your tongue, savor the One Lord, and you shall be honored in the Court of the True Lord. ||1||
ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਏਹੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
sādhū sang parāpat jā kau tin hī pāiā ēh nidhān .
He alone obtains this treasure, who joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਗਾਵਉ ਗੁਣ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਨਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀਜੈ ਦਾਨੁ ॥੨॥੨੯॥੧੧੫॥
gāvau gun kīratan nit suāmī kar kirapā nānak dījai dān .2.29.115.
O Lord and Master, mercifully bless Nanak with this gift, that he may ever sing the Glorious Praises of Your Kirtan. ||2||29||115||
