ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:
ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥
gur pūrā ārādhiā hōē kirapāl .
I worship the Perfect Guru in adoration; He has become merciful to me.
ਮਾਰਗੁ ਸੰਤਿ ਬਤਾਇਆ ਤੂਟੇ ਜਮ ਜਾਲ ॥੧॥
mārag sant batāiā tūtē jam jāl .1.
The Saint has shown me the Way, and the noose of Death has been cut away. ||1||
ਦੂਖ ਭੂਖ ਸੰਸਾ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਗਾਵਤ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮ ॥
dūkh bhūkh sansā mitiā gāvat prabh nām .
Pain, hunger and scepticism have been dispelled, singing the Name of God.
ਸਹਜ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਰਸ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭਿ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sahaj sūkh ānand ras pūran sabh kām .1. rahāu .
I am blessed with celestial peace, poise, bliss and pleasure, and all my affairs have been perfectly resolved. ||1||Pause||
ਜਲਨਿ ਬੁਝੀ ਸੀਤਲ ਭਏ ਰਾਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪ ॥
jalan bujhī sītal bhaē rākhē prabh āp .
The fire of desire has been quenched, and I am cooled and soothed; God Himself saved me.
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਵਡ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੭੫॥
nānak prabh saranāgatī jā kā vad paratāp .2.11.75.
Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; His glorious radiance is so great! ||2||11||75||
