Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:
ਜੀਅ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੈ ਜੋ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਕਰਨਾ ॥
jī jugat vas prabhū kai jō kahai s karanā .
The living creatures and their ways are in God's power. Whatever He says, they do.
ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਇ ਭਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ ॥੧॥
bhaē prasann gōpāl rāi bhau kish nahī karanā .1.
When the Sovereign Lord of the Universe is pleased, there is nothing at all to fear. ||1||
ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਕਦੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥
dūkh n lāgai kadē tudh pārabraham chitārē .
Pain shall never afflict you, if you remember the Supreme Lord God.
ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jamakankar nēr n āvaī gurasikh piārē .1. rahāu .
The Messenger of Death does not even approach the beloved Sikhs of the Guru. ||1||Pause||
ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਰੁ ॥
karan kāran samarath hai tis bin nahī hōr .
The All-powerful Lord is the Cause of causes; there is no other than Him.
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਗਤੀ ਸਾਚਾ ਮਨਿ ਜੋਰੁ ॥੨॥੫॥੬੯॥
nānak prabh saranāgatī sāchā man jōr .2.5.69.
Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; the True Lord has given strength to the mind. ||2||5||69||
