ਹਰਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਰਸਿ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਏ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਾ ॥੨॥
har mangal ras rasan rasāē nānak nām pragāsā .2.
My tongue tastes the taste of the Lord's joyous song; O Nanak, the Naam shines forth brightly. ||2||
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
antar ratan bīchārē . guramukh nām piārē .
The Gurmukh loves the Name of the Lord; deep within, she contemplates the jewel of the Naam.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਅਧੇਰੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥
har nām piārē sabad nisatārē agiān adhēr gavāiā .
Those who love the Lord's Name are emancipated through the Word of the Shabad. The darkness of ignorance is dispelled.
ਗਿਆਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡੁ ਬਲਿਆ ਘਟਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਸੋਹਾਇਆ ॥
giān prachand baliā ghat chānan ghar mandar sōhāiā .
Spiritual wisdom burns brilliantly, illuminating the heart; their homes and temples are embellished and blessed.
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਾਚੇ ਭਾਇਆ ॥
tan man arap sīgār banāē har prabh sāchē bhāiā .
I have made my body and mind into adornments, and dedicated them to the True Lord God, pleasing Him.
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਪਰੁ ਕੀਜੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
jō prabh kahai sōī par kījai nānak ank samāiā .3.
Whatever God says, I gladly do. O Nanak, I have merged into the fiber of His Being. ||3||
ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਾਜੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ॥
har prabh kāj rachāiā .
The Lord God has arranged the marriage ceremony;
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵੀਆਹਣਿ ਆਇਆ ॥
guramukh vīāhan āiā .
He has come to marry the Gurmukh.
ਵੀਆਹਣਿ ਆਇਆ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਾ ਧਨ ਕੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
vīāhan āiā guramukh har pāiā sā dhan kant piārī .
He has come to marry the Gurmukh, who has found the Lord. That bride is very dear to her Lord.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥
sant janā mil mangal gāē har jīu āp savārī .
The humble Saints join together and sing the songs of joy; the Dear Lord Himself has adorned the soul-bride.
ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਮਿਲਿ ਆਏ ਅਪੂਰਬ ਜੰਞ ਬਣਾਈ ॥
sur nar gan gandharab mil āē apūrab janñ banāī .
The angels and mortal beings, the heavenly heralds and celestial singers, have come together and formed a wondrous wedding party.
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੈ ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥੩॥
nānak prabh pāiā mai sāchā nā kadē marai n jāī .4.1.3.
O Nanak, I have found my True Lord God, who never dies, and is not born. ||4||1||3||
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਰਾਗੁ ਸੂਹੀ ਛੰਤ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਘਰੁ ੨ ॥
rāg sūhī shant mahalā 4 ghar 2 .
Raag Soohee, Chhant, Fourth Mehl, Second House:
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ॥
guramukh har gun gāē .
The Gurmukhs sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord;
ਹਿਰਦੈ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਏ ॥
hiradai rasan rasāē .
in their hearts, and on their tongues, they enjoy and savor His taste.
ਹਰਿ ਰਸਨ ਰਸਾਏ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਏ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਏ ॥
har rasan rasāē mērē prabh bhāē miliā sahaj subhāē .
They enjoy and savor His taste, and are pleasing to my God, who meets them with natural ease.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗੇ ਸੁਖਿ ਸੋਵੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥
anadin bhōg bhōgē sukh sōvai sabad rahai liv lāē .
Night and day, they enjoy enjoyments, and they sleep in peace; they remain lovingly absorbed in the Word of the Shabad.
ਵਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਈਐ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
vadai bhāg gur pūrā pāīai anadin nām dhiāē .
By great good fortune, one obtains the Perfect Guru; night and day, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਸਹਜੇ ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁੰਨਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੧॥
sahajē sahaj miliā jagajīvan nānak sunn samāē .1.
In absolute ease and poise, one meets the Life of the World. O Nanak, one is absorbed in the state of absolute absorption. ||1||
ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੰਤ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਿ ਨਿਰਮਲਿ ਨਾਏ ॥
sangat sant milāē . har sar niramal nāē .
Joining the Society of the Saints, I bathe in the Immaculate Pool of the Lord.
ਨਿਰਮਲਿ ਜਲਿ ਨਾਏ ਮੈਲੁ ਗਵਾਏ ਭਏ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥
niramal jal nāē mail gavāē bhaē pavit sarīrā .
Bathing in these Immaculate Waters, my filth is removed, and my body is purified and sanctified.
ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਗਈ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਾਗਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਬਿਨਠੀ ਪੀਰਾ ॥
duramat mail gaī bhram bhāgā haumai binathī pīrā .
The filth of intellectual evil-mindedness is removed, doubt is gone, and the pain of egotism is dispelled.
ਨਦਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਨਿਜ ਘਰਿ ਹੋਆ ਵਾਸਾ ॥
nadar prabhū satasangat pāī nij ghar hōā vāsā .
By God's Grace, I found the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation. I dwell in the home of my own inner being.
