ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਨਾਥ ਕਛੂਅ ਨ ਜਾਨਉ ॥
nāth kashū n jānau .
O my Lord and Master, I know nothing.
ਮਨੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੈ ਹਾਥਿ ਬਿਕਾਨਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
man māiā kai hāth bikānau .1. rahāu .
My mind has sold out, and is in Maya's hands. ||1||Pause||
ਤੁਮ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਹੌ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
tum kahīat hau jagat gur suāmī .
You are called the Lord and Master, the Guru of the World.
ਹਮ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਕੇ ਕਾਮੀ ॥੧॥
ham kahīat kalijug kē kāmī .1.
I am called a lustful being of the Dark Age of Kali Yuga. ||1||
ਇਨ ਪੰਚਨ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨੁ ਜੁ ਬਿਗਾਰਿਓ ॥
in panchan mērō man j bigāriō .
The five vices have corrupted my mind.
ਪਲੁ ਪਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਪਾਰਿਓ ॥੨॥
pal pal har jī tē antar pāriō .2.
Moment by moment, they lead me further away from the Lord. ||2||
ਜਤ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਦੁਖ ਕੀ ਰਾਸੀ ॥
jat dēkhau tat dukh kī rāsī .
Wherever I look, I see loads of pain and suffering.
ਅਜੌਂ ਨ ਪਤ੍ਯਾਇ ਨਿਗਮ ਭਏ ਸਾਖੀ ॥੩॥
ajaunh n patyāi nigam bhaē sākhī .3.
I do not have faith, even though the Vedas bear witness to the Lord. ||3||
ਗੋਤਮ ਨਾਰਿ ਉਮਾਪਤਿ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ॥ ਸੀਸੁ ਧਰਨਿ ਸਹਸ ਭਗ ਗਾਂਮੀ ॥੪॥
gōtam nār umāpat svāmī . sīs dharan sahas bhag gānhmī .4.
Shiva cut off Brahma's head, and Gautam's wife and the Lord Indra mated; Brahma's head got stuck to Shiva's hand, and Indra came to bear the marks of a thousand female organs. ||4||
ਇਨ ਦੂਤਨ ਖਲੁ ਬਧੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਰਿਓ ॥
in dūtan khal badh kar māriō .
These demons have fooled, bound and destroyed me.
ਬਡੋ ਨਿਲਾਜੁ ਅਜਹੂ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਰਿਓ ॥੫॥
badō nilāj ajahū nahī hāriō .5.
I am very shameless - even now, I am not tired of them. ||5||
ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਕਹਾ ਕੈਸੇ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
kah ravidās kahā kaisē kījai .
Says Ravi Daas, what am I to do now?
ਬਿਨੁ ਰਘੁਨਾਥ ਸਰਨਿ ਕਾ ਕੀ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੬॥੧॥
bin raghunāth saran kā kī lījai .6.1.
Without the Sanctuary of the Lord's Protection, who else's should I seek? ||6||1||
