ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਕੈਰਉ ਕਰਤੇ ਦੁਰਜੋਧਨ ਸੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
mērī mērī kairau karatē durajōdhan sē bhāī .

ਬਾਰਹ ਜੋਜਨ ਛਤ੍ਰੁ ਚਲੈ ਥਾ ਦੇਹੀ ਗਿਰਝਨ ਖਾਈ ॥੨॥

ਦੁਰਬਾਸਾ ਸਿਉ ਕਰਤ ਠਗਉਰੀ ਜਾਦਵ ਏ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ॥
durabāsā siu karat thagaurī jādav ē phal pāē .
The Yaadvas deceived Durbaasaa, and received their rewards.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਜਨ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਊਪਰ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਏ ॥੪॥੧॥

ਹਮਰੋ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਾਮੁ ਸਨੇਹੀ ॥

O man, why are you so proud? This body is only temporary - it shall pass away. ||1||Pause||
